Re: Savage msr 224 valkyrie

Not happy about it either but the engraving is not that bad and kinda cool to be listed as the manufacturer. The $200? Well you have to pay to play. I've blown more on less.[/quote] Correct me if I am wrong but your required to notify ATF to take a sbr out of state, correct? But I can take any regul...

Re: Building an Aero Precision 308 from parts

without rockset or other higher temp thread locker it will loosen up upon firing. I use precision shims, not crush washers especially if I am going to mount a suppressor.

Re: Minneapolis officer charged in shooting of Australian woman

I have to admit , I am surprised he is being charged. I will be knocked on my backside if he is convicted. He will be convicted. The tell tale sign was way back when the union bailed out on supporting him. He's done. Something caused both officers to have their weapons out. Ie., both had enough cau...

Re: Get off my side, Kory

Furnish doesn't mean "sale". Furnish is to provide. Just letting a person use one. It still doesn't allow a sale.

Re: Las Vegas shooting report

in a superior firing position, which he essentially was, he could move from room to room picking up rifles which is quicker than solving stoppages. Under a high rate of fire, which he clearly intended, the guns are going to heat up and fail rather quickly. he discards the failure and moves in a new ...

Re: BCG question

Unless I am missing something, that appears to be carbon. Soak it in some carb cleaner or use an ultra sonic cleaner.

Then run it wet all the time.

Re: new shooters

I would check out the crossbreed holsters as well. They are excellent. I have a drawer full of ones that suck to carry, but I carry everyday with a crossbreed across multiple platforms.

Re: Help me build a super accurate AR15

keys to accuracy in the AR

buy a good barrel.
1/7 or 1/8 twist. length of barrel has no bearing on accuracy.

torque to the high end of the specs and shim the barrel

Buy a match trigger and free float hand guard.

Re: Scope for Ruger Precision Rifle? (Not my Nikon?)

ON the low end I would look at the vortex Viper PST Gen 2 5-25 FFP EBR -2c reticle.

If I had the budget I would get the Razor Gen 2 4.5-27 with the same reticle.
