Re: powderpuff load for Glock 24C

Jeff: Thanks. The Compensated barrell relieves the pressure so dramatically, that I need enough "oomphf" to cycle the slide. I have my choice of 11# and 13# springs. What's going to concern me is if the gun will eject cleanly. I have seen some light loaded empty cases simply stay hooked un...

Re: Black Bullets International

MnSo4 lubed bullets are nice.....and black. Try the same process using using Boron Nitride, they are white, and not at all un pleasant to handle. You can apply it your self in a tumbler with steel shot. Otherwise, I will run the unsized slug thru a lubricator and then treat with BN. You can use Liqu...

Re: Primer supply

My IDPA guru claims that his neighbor, the Federal Rep, stated that by the end of June, the retailers will all be navel deep in primers. But, you guessed it, at a new price! They did this 7 or 9 years ago, remember? BTW, I recall $7.47 a thou Alcans that I bought with no limit, they were amazing, th...

Re: FS: Dillon Reloading Gear And Other Stuff

550 still for sale? I have space on the bench for another Dillon, as I took the 700-vs down, replaced with a Mec-9000-GN. I have 45,000 primers that have a burning desire "to be seated". I scored 25,000 from Natchez the same day they sold out, for good. Also nabbed 80 pounds of powder and ...

Re: Powder? Primers? Anyone? Anywhere?

Talked to a comp shooter who is a neighbor of a Federal Sales Rep. Good news, we will be ankle deep in primers in June or July! Facts are that the LE crowd is so stocked up with munitions that the supply chain is now shifting to commercial markets and that is good news. I am waist deep in primers, I...
