Homeowners insurance ???

MnHornet wrote:Thanks guys, sounds like I need to itemize like you would with fine jewelry.

If you get a policy through NRA, they do not need serial numbers and only ask to itemize guns worth over $2500 each. I have not read the fine print yet though or compared pricing.

ranger wrote:Anybody needing/wanting more .22 ammo, keep an eye on Cabela's site "early" Thursday AM. According to a reliable source, a good selection of .22 should be available!

Savage Axis .223 - magazine falls out when firing

Are you smacking it in well? I have the next level up Savage and it takes a very firm push to seat.

After you seat the magazine and with bolt open - push down on magazine from inside and see if it falls out.

Just some ideas...

"Investigating" a bump in the night when the perimeter alarm is quite and you are 99.9% sure that it is nothing is one thing. To go looking for trouble when you think there is a good chance that somebody is in your house is completely different. Here is a small tip - if you have an alarm s...

Here it comes, the new Congressional push for gun control?

The NRA pisses me off. I've got almost 3 years left on my current membership, and I just got a renewal notice from them today. And of course nowhere on the payment form is the date my membership expires. I consider this to be just shy of fraud. The NRA is necessary, but they are by no means an orga...

Hmm, I've always called the few guns I have a collection even though it only contains one gun that seems to have gained in $$$. Funny part is that it is the cheapest firearm I own and was purchased for $100. Now it doubled in price! :) Would be sad to refer to it as an accumulation of guns, so I am ...

Springfield Champion Operator. First I ordered the grips, then I decided it should have an extended magwell... This one "snickers" into lock up like a Les Baer - very tight fit.Image
