I own the XD-M 9mm. love her. It's no 1911, but it shoots equal to/better than a Glock, and holds more ammo+costs less. I push this gun for my security officers as their duty weapon. Yes, the suppresses are surprisingly small for the 223 cartridge. mine is only 6.8" long(the can that is,. ;) ) in Minnesota the DNR can possess 10 sound suppressors total, so he was apparently 10% of the lucky Minnesota folks that get to use one.. And yes, feel free to move over to the WI side...
