Re: Its getting to be that time again...

We either marinate over night in Italian dressing and grill or pound flat, dredge in eggs roll in crushed captain crunch and pan fry. Kids can't get enough.

Re: davis industries derringer

I've had two, one in .22 and another in .38. The .38 keyholed every bullet out of the top barrel. I sold it cheap at full disclosure. The only reason I still have the .22 is to keep it loaded with bird shot for the occasional mouse in the wood shed. IMHO, there are better options for anything you'd ...

Re: WTB 45-70 govt dies

Just saw this. I've got a set of RCBS dies with shell holder and ~40 rounds of once fired brass (mixed) that I'm not using. PM me if interested.

Re: Tuesday night... meet up West Side of Cities

That's on my way home. I'll try to make it. All depends on when I get out of work.

Re: Has anyone worked with these folks

GrandpaRex:

When you purchased firearms was there any transfer fee on top of the buyer's premium and sales tax?

Re: Has anyone worked with these folks

I've bought stuff from them. Onebohemian pretty much nailed it; make sure you inspect, and expect to pay the 10% buyers premium.

While I was picking up my most recent acquisition (air compressor), I talked to the guy who handles their firearms sales. He seemed decent.

Re: Seating and Crimping in the same stroke of the press.

I've found that seating and crimping in one step works fine for jacketed bullets with a cannelure or cast bullets with a crimping groove.

Projectiles without these caused me problems with shaving, distortion, etc.

Re: Western Burbs Beer Night

I'd be in for Maple Grove, or further West. I second the recommendation Dave's town club in Delano.
