Re: Removing Old Posts

Wow, that is quite a list. I haven’t thought about many of those guys for a long time. I suspect most don’t remember me as although I made it to a few breakfasts and gopher shoots back in the early days, other aspects of life eventually pulled me in other directions. Came back to the site only recen...

FS: various once fired brass

Have about a 15 lb bag of various calibers once-fired brass. Likely some 380, 38, 357, 9, 40, 45, 556, and other in it. Not sure what brass goes for these days, but it strikes me $15.00 would be fair. If you are interested, please message me here. Pick up in north Blaine. Thanks.

Re: Gun safe auction

Inspected a couple S&W revolvers years ago prior to bidding. Glad I did as condition was significantly below as described. Further, buried in the T&C page: Buyer’s Premium – Personal Property For lots with a hammer price up to $4,999.99 the Buyer's Premium is 13% which is retained by K-BID a...

Re: M&P 40 conversion to 9mm

I did this years ago to a 40c. Went with the storm lake barrel which was brand new at the time. Storm Lake screwed up their first barrels and fitting was required. After I finished it, they admitted their mistake, but I stuck with my work product. Bought 9mm mags and all was good. The most risky par...

Re: GORSUCH AND OTHER JUSTICES TO CONSIDER GUN CASE

Appears petition for cert has only been filed -- not granted. Lots of amici related to cert filed too. Conference is to discuss whether the court will hear the case or not. Conf. was rescheduled 4-12-17. Assume it will be discussed soon.

Re: A question about buying in Wisconsin.

I would think the walmart in cambridge could order you whatever gun walmart has in its national stock. Worth asking the gun dept. there. Good luck,

Re: Fiocchi Shooting Dynamics 12ga 1170 FPS #7.5 Review

If you are looking for a load to try at a price point, try Estates. My son used that exact same model gun last year for HS trap, went through 7 cases at less than $50 per case (so under $5 per box) of their 8 shot target loads. Never had a malfunction of any kind. Where did you find Estates for tha...

WTB Rem 1100 LT20 28" Barrel

It's a longshot, but who knows what you guys have stuffed in the back of your closets. I am looking to buy a used barrel to fit my daughters Remington 1100 LT 20 gauge. Want 26" or 28", with vented rib, and with the muzzle already tapped for screw-in Remchokes. If you have a barrel with fi...

Re: Need M1 Garand firing pin and a little gunsmithing

Greg, At the end of this detail strip tutorial, the guy shows how to disassemble the bolt using the M10 tool. http://www.garandgear.com/m1-garand-strip I think the tool came in the cleaning kits that fit into the butt of the rifle. Doesn't appear to be too difficult of a job. Just requires some pati...

Rochester public trapshooting range?

I need a public range in or around Rochester to shoot a few rounds of trap with my kid on Saturday. The website for the one range I found south of Rochester says members only. Any suggestions? Willing to drive a bit to get somewhere we can shoot.

Thanks,
