Re: Looking to pick up a M1 Carbine

Figured as much. Looks like the only things left on gunbroker are Auto Ordnance.

Looking to pick up a M1 Carbine

Looking for a last minute buy on a M1 carbine new in box before the holidays.

First question: does the M1 carbine fall into the "MN assault rifle" category? I haven't renewed my permit to purchase.

Second: any sightings of one locally? Willing to drive 3 hours to for one.

Re: My daughter forgot how to operate her 10-22

Interesting. I'm lucky to get off 5 shots on my 10/22 without having to work the bolt.

Re: Transfers to a FFL

I send all of my stuff to Atomic Tactical. They always have someone at the counter to sign for shipments during business hours. I just track my package and make a visit after it's marked delivered. No hassles and good value: $20 for first item and $5 additional each. Almost makes the other places th...

Re: GOOD experience at Bill's

And I would also like to add that Bill's will let you shoot buck/birdshots. I was pleasantly surprised as so many--if not all--indoor ranges in the metro area strictly prohibits it.

Re: GOOD experience at Bill's

I like it. I'm not aware of any other place that will let you bring in multiple guns and shoot as long as you want for a flat fee.

Re: Buying parts to build an AR.

Everywhere online. Parts are stupid vast and everyone is getting in on selling them but they're always sold out. I recently tossed my ruger AR and started buying parts for a new build, I expect it in the $800 range. But the best part is I get everything I want in an AR. SAA stripped lower - $120 Tom...

Re: AR lowers

Anywhere else locally that has completed lowers on hand? Figured after FFL fees by buying online might as well buy one locally with tax.

Re: Practical place to pattern shotgun?

Shucks, called Oakdale and they don't have a place for public use. Metro Gun Club does but steel is prohibited.

Practical place to pattern shotgun?

Looking to pattern my new shotgun with steel shots. I've looked into indoor ranges with retrievable targets but all of them (at least to my knowledge) prohibit steel shots. I've been told I can try public outdoor ranges but with no retrievable target system it could take a while in between target re...
