Re: how did i ruin my sizing die?

Since I size pistol brass dirty, I have had this happen and have found that polishing off the softer brass with 2000 grit sandpaper also has the benefit of smoothing the die. I now always use Hornady One-Shot with my sizing/expanding dies and that has helped the brass particles always move out of th...

Re: Best way to utize bench space? A perfect layout?

Storing the dies with the the bushings installed is no big deal. Look at the wood block behind my press for an idea.

Re: Best way to utize bench space? A perfect layout?

Are they both single stage RCBS presses? If newer, I'd modify one to the Hornady LNL quick change bushing and ditch the second press. I can change my dies on my Rockcucker (Supreme) in 30 secs (at worst case) and so the idea of leaving a second press to just hold a different die, doesn't make sense ...

Re: Oakdale Gun Club "OGC" Closure

The place was empty this evening. I had it to myself for most of the time (not just my range, the whole place!). Fun to shoot, run out and change targets, repeat without needing to wait for everyone to be ready. Zero hassle given or received. But don't take my word for it, the internet is usually ri...

I’ve emailed him in the past he does not see emails.

I wonder if that would be an acceptable answer for my lack of response to the club's emails to me about range duty? :D

Re: Oakdale Gun Club "OGC" Closure

Can’t they just share a signup sheet through google docs? NO! Apparently not. Last year we had to go to the club during business hours and physically sign up on paper which was better than the year before when we emailed one guy who rarely responded with when we were looking to sign up and then aft...

WTB RCBS Pro 2000

I'm one of those people who really like the APS primer strips. Currently I prime off press with the APS bench primer.

RCBS doesn't make a progressive press with the APS any more. Did anyone buy a Pro 2000, decide they didn't like it and have it sitting on a shelf?
