Re: 3 Gun Bills in MN House

Lumpy wrote:So how do things look in the MN Senate?

It would look much better if the GOP controlled the Senate. That is for sure.

Re: ATF's poorly trained ‘operators’ are a threat to public safe

Once upon a time, oversight of the 1934 NFA provisions was the purview of the IRS, whose institutional interest was simply collecting money due the government. Then in the wake of leftist radicalism in the Vietnam era and the passage of the 1968 Gun Control Act, this mission was transferred to the ...

Re: Homemade gun maker convicted in NY

What's either funny or just stupidity about the law in this state is that before the 1968 Gun Control Act, guns weren't required serial numbers. So are they going to start making people that have grandpa's old guns a felon? That's the question I frequently pose to those who live in fear of 'untrace...

Re: This is crazy

My understanding is that this was misreported. Rod Doer had an explanation on what the ruling actually was and it made sense. I don’t recall the particulars though.

Rebarreling

Who would you go to in the twin cities to have a Ruger M77 Mark II stainless rebarreled? Want to go from a .30-06 to .35 Whelen.

Re: Handgun sights recommendations

The Burris fast fire III is on tight so that’s not the issue. Didn’t think a pistol barrel could be an issue being short. Functions fine without any issues. Will try one more time with the new optic coming in. Supposed to be a match barrel being a XDm. Could consider ordering another barrel so will...

Re: Need a inexpensive gun safe?

I just put enough weight in mine to make sure it will take 2 to 3 idiots to move it. OF COURSE!!! THAT'S why I had to buy my shotgun---and whatever I decide to get in the future. To put more weight in the safe!!! Brilliant. Thank you. That theory only works until your current safe is full and you j...

Re: Handgun sights recommendations

There are currently tons of red dot options for pistols. That would seem to be the most appropriate for what you are looking for however with everything you have tried with irons, I doubt this is really the solution. Sound more like it is issues with the tolerances in the pistol itself.
