Re: Question about autosears

Incidentally, recently they were in the news in Columbus OH, when ATF director Steve Dettelbach had this to say: “Those weapons are as Congress said unusually dangerous. They're for the military and the government. The Founding Fathers would be rolling in their graves to hear that the modern viewpo...

If it weren't for the ambiguity it would be far more difficult to engage in the sort of politically-motivated selective prosecution that is the motivation for all of this.

That’s a bingo!

Really? Glad to hear a lawyer providing free legal advice on the interwebs.

Re: New ATF final ruling: Pistol (Brace) vs SBR

This is incorrect. A brace can be installed on a rifle with a 16" barrel, according the compliance criteria. Therefore they cannot prosecute you for posessing a brace. They also state in the same criteria that a brace must be rendered inoperable. They are contradicting themselves and that will...

Re: Feds finalize tighter regulations on gun stabilizing braces

As far as I can tell you're fine if you simply take the brace off. And it may take a few years winding its way through the courts but I'm pretty sure this will eventually be struck down as unconstitutional on one or more grounds. Correct. I think AFT is going to have a hard time in court given thei...

Re: Minnesota Legislature needs to take action to strengthen gun

I think we can all agree that drunk driving is bad. Therefore to save lives I propose we ban helicopters because they look scary.

Re: Mayor Carter wants more 'Gun Free' zones

Yeah, I know, "Surprise, Surprise, Surprise!" This comes after Exavir Dwayne Binford Jr, an employee of the Jimmy Lee Recreation Center in St. Paul, shot a teen after they had 'an altercation' (read 'fight') outside the Oxford Community Center in St. Paul. Note: Binford has a concealed ca...

Charged doesn’t mean convicted. Holly weird and the left are going to make this the guns fault and use it against us.
