MEC 630 12 gauge reloader with Hulls Wads (and 20s)

I'm just not shooting like I thought I would to justify having a reloader, etc. Hundreds of Hulls and Wads, in both 12 and 20. Mec reloader is in great shape and I have two new 'bottles' for both shot and powder. $100 for it all.

Belay my last search, found what I was looking for

I'm doing a trial long range rifle and want to swap out the oem stock on my ADL (6.5c) for an aluminum chassis (ie LSS-XL, etc.). Anybody got one? Or a suggested source for inexpensive ones? Thanks!

Re: Long Range Endeavor: Tikka CTR or Tikka TAC both in 6.5Cr ?

It's me -the OP- I went the poor-mans route and picked up a cheap Rem 700 in 6.5 when they were on sale back in July (Cabelas). I figured I'd want to wade into the long range pool inexpensively. So for a fraction of the price of a TAC I'll swap out the chassis, play with it for a while, then decide ...

Best separator for steel-pin media after tumbling?

I'm new to reloading, so after trying to clean a bunch of brass in a standard corn cob media -and not being satisfied with the results- I decided to go with a tumbler/pin/lemi solution. But here's my question- Is a standard tumbler the best separator for the brass after it's been tumbled in the solu...

WANTED: Spotting Scope Stand w/ Head (tall for offhand)

I'm looking for a heavy duty scope stand and mounting head that is tall enough for offhand shooting and is sturdy enough to handle a big scope (100mm obj.). Ideally 1" diameter tubing (maybe 7/8ths could work). Some junk can be found online, so I'm looking for something by Stallings, Giraud, Cr...

Re: Long Range Endeavor: Tikka CTR or Tikka TAC both in 6.5Cr ?

Thanks to everyone who gave me their two cents- it does mean a lot to me and made me realize "I don't know what I don't know' ! I need to step back and assess my goal (ie FClass, PRS, etc.) *The Atlantic Fleet Match is for service rifle. But they had a 1k yard side-bar competition for people th...

Long Range Endeavor: Tikka CTR or Tikka TAC both in 6.5Cr ?

I've decided I want a paper-punching 1,000 yard gun. I shot at the Atlantic Fleet Match earlier this month and when they had their 1,000 yard match, I didn't play because of a few factors (besides, I don't like borrowing guns). So being a Tikka fan for all my hunting rifles, I've narrowed down my ch...

Re: Building an Aero Precision 308 from parts

Well laid out images and description. I built mine last year and the Aero parts went together really well. I also waited until much of the M5E1 stuff popped up on the "blemished" category so it was even less. I put a Vortex Strike Eagle on top and am really pleased with it. Took it deer hu...

Re: Where have all the 1911 gunsmiths gone?

I was talking to a local well-known rifle 'smith a couple months ago and he said all the good 1911 guys have left town. I needed some slide work done on a Springfield, so sent it to Dave Salyer- cost me $180 for shipping fees! That's a third of what Dave's fees were. So I'm thinking there's got to ...

Re: Suggestions for parts - 308 AR build

I just did this! I went through the same process- buying Aero parts (M5E1). But I just took my time and waited until they had either sales or blemished parts. Doing it this way also 'budgets' the rifle by spending smaller bits over time. (But keep in mind you'll spend more perhaps than just buying o...

Re: Loctite on Scope Mount Screws?

(OP here), I've noticed this -loose screws- on my Warne mount on my competition AR. So not much recoil at all, so I'll try the purple. Thanks to everyone who chimed it....obviously great minds think alike.
