Re: CZ P-07 Duty.

One Glock accessory that fits on the P-07 rail is the Glock factory light. Frontiersman had one for 15 bucks and my friend grabbed it. It fits like a charm and has a decent switch for on/off operation too.

Re: CZ P-07 Duty.

That is the polymer framed handgun for concealed carry that I would pick if I have the money for one. A friend and his wife both have the P-07 duty pistol, and they are nice shooters. The magazines are a little spendy, and I have not seen non-factory mags(i.e. MecGar ) out yet.

Re: armor plate carriers

I remember seeing some at the Brooklyn Park Fleet Farm, and saw that they are U.S. Palm brand. I did not see any markings or tags or literature with the armor for model type of armor or NIJ rating. I looked on the U.S. Palm web site and think I found the type at FF: https://uspalm.com/products/sap-c...

Re: New tools...

If anyone is looking for dental picks, call up or stop by one of the Ax Man surplus stores. They usually have then and I have purchased them individually for around $2.50 or $3.00. They are usually under glass in the display cases at the checkout counter. So go ahead and ask and the clerk should bri...

Re: Green beret goes "native". Brings girlfriend to front line.

The guy also reminds me a little bit of the late John Paul Vann, the subject of the book "A Bright Shining Lie: John Paul Vann and America in Vietnam" by Neil Sheehan.

Re: Never did care for Sean Penn..now even less

What does the reference to guns that Penn possesses in the continental United States mean? Does he have property in Hawaii or Alaska? Maybe U.S. possessions or territories? Are more of his guns located there? If so, why not rid himself of those? And regarding the sculpture to be made from his surren...

Re: What do these #'s mean?

I have seen markings on revolver cylinders in a book article that described them as markings that denote the order of accuracy from the chambers (in a specific load, I am guessing, and with 1 being the most accurate of the cylinders). However, the photo I had seen had the chamber numbers consecutive...

Re: 870 Shotgun barrel

MidwayUSA sells the Mossberg made barrel at a discount from time to time. They also sell the Remington factory barrels as well, though it is infrequent that they have them on sale. You may want to check the following sites online: http://barrelexchange.com/ (I didn't see any barrels at a decent pric...

Re: Another One Bites the Dust

Might it be related to the circumstances that they sold firearms (legally and unknowingly as far as I know) to a person that was a gun trafficker a few years ago? http://www.startribune.com/investigators/96218259.html?refer=y Part 1: From southern Minnesota to Mexico Article by: JAMES WALSH , Star T...

Re: Star Tribune article on thugs and guns

I just realized (I had read the Strib article when it first came out--no I did not buy an issue of the paper) when now looking at the article quotes in this thread that "Malo" is not a great first name to have, especially when shooting at the police. It is a Spanish word for "bad"...

Re: Does anyone even buy 20" AR's anymore?

I have been more partial to 20" barrel AR15s. They have been builds instead of straight out buys, since I wanted to make some retro full size lookalikes that no one has or had offered for sale as a complete rifle. I prefer the longer barrel to make the most out of the 5.56x45mm rounds performan...

Re: Nick Coleman's Digital Diarrhea

Coleman wrote in a Strib column that he had also purchased a M10/11 style pistol (the MAC10/11 semi lookalike) at an Anoka armory gun show and took it to a so-called "Buy-Back" or handed it in to a police precinct office as well. It may have been after the Columbine shootings.
