Re: What's it worth? (Tikka 595 in .223 with heavy barrel)

Ya, you betcha, I’m new to the internet, but not to life. I’ve been chasing this fella around to see if he still has that Tikka. So, is this what you fellas in MN do in the winter, besides ice fishing? Same here in OR where it rains everyday. The young guys can have my share of winter steelhead.

Re: Best polishing areas for 1911?

Agree with the posters saying go easy-be careful doing your own work on a 1911. It takes some experience/knowledge to get it right. When I shot AMU back when, the armors did all the tuning, we just shot them. Even they make mistakes. One day armour came to the range to test one. Went full auto. Firs...

Re: Where to get a decent quality .223 upper for prairie dogs

If you seriously want to kill, not just “shoot at” , prairie dogs, I’d leave the AR home. A 2” group doesn’t quite hack it if you’re into body count. An AR is great for blasting a lot of ammo on pop cans at the quarry, unless you want to spend over a grand. If you want invest in a trip to Montana, t...

Re: What's it worth? (Tikka 595 in .223 with heavy barrel)

Do any of you guys know “Bergie”? I’d like to talk to him about his Tikka in .223 with the cracked stock. My e-mail is herb.goblirsch@gmail.com. If my folks hadn’t moved to Oregon in ‘48, I’d be raising corn and soybeans in SW Minn. like my cousins back there.
