Re: Feeding / firing issues with Kimber Custom II

If it worked for a long time and suddenly started this, there is really only one place to start, and thats replacing the recoil spring, and the sear spring(that flat fingered spring under the mainspring housing). To test it for function, load one round off a mag and then drop the mag, and fire the o...

Re: Sons of Guns? Red Jacket? wow....

Does anyone else see the resemblance between the pawn stars guy and the gun shop guy?

I agree on the tooling, they are not master machinists or gunsmiths, they are ok mechanics and that's it.

Re: Felony for toy guns? any comments?

It's petty misdemeanor results.

From reading the article the "kids" are young men.

And toy guns have gotten felony convictions for armed robbery in the past.

I don't understand charging this out as felony's though, that is the realm of the prosecutor and that seems stupid to me.

Re: .

Oldman. I think you misunderstand the nature if this board as it once was and perhaps still is. This board is VERY active on Second Amendment issues. At times this board has put thirty or more people in the audience at the state house, double that many letter writers and very active in local politic...

Re: AZ: ATF says no guns to legal medical marijuana patients

At some point a catch 22 exists which violates the Fifth amendment protections against self incrimination

Re: WTB! Wanted .45 ACP rounds and .223/5.56

What kind of a gun, Barrels are cheap in the long run. Save 30 or forty bucks a month and by the time you've worn out a chamber you are way ahead. Kart barrels can be found for a 1911 for about a honey bee and a half. Figure your savings from that.

Re: WCCO Gun Story

Its a remote camera, they use them all the time in interviews and stories, set up the tri pod and the reporter or cameraman has a clicker in their hand and hit the botton once they get back in frame. half the sports interviews you see on the news are done this way. And no, Bill's would not allow any...

Re: Why Glock?

Point one. Glock has an amazing marketing campaign. Gaston spent a boat load off money getting his gun planted in movies. It worked. Point two. Glock hand guns are like Camry's. Dead reliable, boring as hell, guns that fit no one but almost fit most people. To me, they are the gun for the non gunner.

Re: Hello from Apple Valley

Stop, back up, and look at a good .22 like a ruger or a buckmark. there its 20 bucks for 500 rounds, and that means a lot more shooting. sure, its not a cool or macho as a big gun, but it will teach you more about shooting faster than any other option.
