I might be up for one of these potential lunches, I live in CR and am generally out of school by 11:30.

Re: Beretta NEOS recall

Hmmm, according to the serial number, mine needs to go in. According to the dot on the back, it needs to go in. According to the firing pin, it does not need to go in.

I'm going to call it good and not be without it for who knows how long.

Before of after the wedding?

How many early morning weddings have you been to? I think before is the safer bet.

No, I've had them before, by the more accurate name. And while not horrible, not something I'm going to eat again.

Re: Use what works

What are your qualifications for mking the claims that you have made? How many times do you go to the range? How many rounds do you fire? What do you shoot? Got any proof that you are always on target other than your say-so? Your overuse of excalamation marks is bothersome. And with the way that yo...

Re: First MNGUNTALK Homebrew event *SIGNUP ADDED*

Thanks! I might be able to make it, but I'm not currently sure. My girlfriend is working a fashion/runway show that weekend and I'm not sure what all is happening. The last time she worked a runway show we didn't get home until almost 6 in the morning.

Re: First MNGUNTALK Homebrew event *SIGNUP ADDED*

I would be hesitant about doing an all grain too early. Not that it's bad or anything, but it's a bit more complicated. If you are just learning start by doing a standard extract, maybe with a specialty grain. I would recommend one or two extracts to get a basic feel for the game and a basic underst...

Re: First MNGUNTALK Homebrew event

I can bring a counterflow wort chiller.

And Pat, it's not as exciting as it may sound, but it can turn a multihour process into a ten minute process.

Re: First MNGUNTALK Homebrew event

I am so up for this. I just brewed a batch last night and bottle 11 gallons of mead this morning.

I can bring some equipment and knowledge.

What are the plans? Several different batches? One giant batch? Is this a buy in type thing where whomever puts money in gets a portion of the results?

Re: Ripley Military Museum

I've heard that you can get the old Willy's for $200 a pop. The catch is that you they come in lots of ten and you have to figure out how to ship them. My dad was telling me about a group at his church that was doing this, rebuilding them and then sending them to missionaries. I've been wanting one ...
