Re: Gabby Gifford’s new Minnesota gun control group for FUDDS

Anyways, the perceived schism between the AR/Polygun crowd and the Fudds is a gap that they're exploiting like there's no tomorrow. It's a known weakness in the gun owning crowd.....just like groups such as Backcountry Hunters and Anglers, and the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership are tryi...

Re: Gabby Gifford’s new Minnesota gun control group for FUDDS

Exactly. Bigger still is that THEY’RE PHYSICALLY THERE. I couldn't disagree with this more. Either we haven't done our duty and educated the people who fall for their misinformation, or they were never on our side to begin with. The fact that one of these groups showed up at the High School Trap sh...

Re: Gabby Gifford’s new Minnesota gun control group for FUDDS

Part of the problem is that, like it or not, some of the FUDD rhetoric issuing from Gabby's astroturf group resonates with our fellow Minnesota hunters. There are guys out there who genuinely think Gabby isn't ever going to come for their 1187, Woodsmaster, or pistol grip shotgun. We need to keep sh...

Re: Some dudes think their stuff is gold

I’ve been a member for a decade now. I’m aware of all the rules, the lack thereof, and the interpretations by some people. Unless, as members, we want to pay $500-1000 each, we’re going to need the public to keep coming. Don’t adapt to what the public wants, they quit coming. Thanks for logging in t...

Re: Some dudes think their stuff is gold

Who knows. Instead of adapting with the times, OGC is choosing to continue pretending like it's still 1968. Bullseye only targets, limited shortrange opportunities, baloney rules... if they weren't so close, I wouldn't bother spending the money or time every year. I've given up trying to change the ...

Sometimes, absent guidance from management, folks set "policy" from their office....ALL kinds of "policy"...like "rapid fire", prone shooting, etc etc etc....

Re: Some dudes think their stuff is gold

Green tip is ok at OGC. Someone went all the way to the board with that info about it NOT being armor piercing. The magnets are also irrelevant due to mild steel jackets on some of the Wolf/Commie Block ammo. Basically, unless it’s black tip M2, or the yellow tip Chicom/Eastern stuff...you’re golden.

Re: Some dudes think their stuff is gold

Green tip M855 is NOT armor piercing....it's performance against steel is the same as any other .223/556 commercially available.

Don't do the anti's job for them by perpetuating this myth.
