Re: GOA or NRA?

Both GOA and SAF are good organizations, but I don't think either have the political clout of the NRA. Make sure to support MN Gun Owners Caucus also. But if they use that "clout" to give us AWBs and Bump-stock bans... Is death by 1,000 paper-cuts better or worse than getting your head cu...

Re: GOA or NRA?

That's why I went GOA. They are a "NO COMPROMISE" organization unlike the NRA which was IIRC responsible for the first so-called AWB...

Re: interesting read

What was the motive of the Las Vegas shooter?
Were bump-stocks actually used in the Las Vegas shooting, or were they just found in the room?

The FBI and ATF know the answers to these questions, and the fact that we don't know the answers means we actually do know the answers...

Re: Shotgun best for home defense.

Nice thing about a 300BO is it drops fairly fast after 300 yards. 5.56 travels allot further. If your worried about your round going into the neighbors house, a shotgun or 300BO will do the job! Your neighbors house is over 300 yards away? My closest neighbor is 350 yards away, and the next 4 neigh...

Re: As the protesters gather.

What I don't understand is why he and the other three seem to have opted for jury trials. I would think a judicial trial would be a much better option for their cases. Anyone know why or want to posit an idea? With one decider it's probably worse than a coin-toss that you'll get someone that cares ...

Re: So when IS someone really a "gun nut"?

If you can't pay your bills or take care of your family but have purchased more than 1 gun in the last 3 months you might have a problem...but I don't think "gun-nut" is a pejorative any more than "baseball-nut" or "car-nut"...

Only if you have a double barrel ;-)

I'm reliably informed by the world's foremost expert in everything that the best home defense strategy is to fire all your ammo indiscriminately into the dark of night.

12 GA "Firearm" spitting Aguila minishell slugs... 385 grains of lead traveling 1,300 FPS, nearly double the ammo capacity in the (tube) mag.

The two options are to turn off Proton VPN before you go to Sierra (so they can track you properly), or stop going to Sierra. I just turn off Proton if I want to look at NorthernTool.com on my phone.

Re: T-Mobile Censorship

So, home wifi, Proton on with server out of Chicago. Click on an email link from Sierra- clothing retailer. Access denied. Turn off Proton and in I go. What gives? Are there any downside risks with using a service like Proton? You can't get to NorthernTool.com from your phone, it says "this we...

Re: T-Mobile Censorship

It comes and goes with me. I did download the Proton app. Went with the free version at first to try it out. I don't quite understand the color coding and the percentages showing for the different servers....so, we will see. Mostly working off my home wifi network, so don't know if I am getting any...

Re: Vista Outdoor reports a strong quarter

Some theories: Antifa, Bolshevik Lying Marxists, Black Panthers stocking up for the Civil War they have been trying to start... 5 million new gun owners that aren't the above groups... If each of them manages to get a box of "training" (plinking) ammo and a box of self defense ammo that's ...
