Re: Remington 700 triggers

Some of the people that shoot in competition love their Shilen Triggers. I've also been told Bix & Andy triggers are excellent as well. You might also check Jewell Triggers too. All three of these are used in various rifle competition, and are highly regarded by some of the top shooters. Some of...

Re: Beginning of the End for Brass Cases?

I wonder how they will address the crimping of the case to hold the primers, as they currently do with brass cased ammo? As I currently understand it, this is done to assure the primers don't fall out, as they are fired in automatic weapons, which could cause jamming of the weapon. I've never seen t...

Re: Oakdale Gun Club "OGC" Closure

The only problem with golf as I see it is if you manage to put that little while thingy in that hole in the ground you have to pick it back out of that round hole in the ground. Do you spray disinfectant into the hole with your ball in it or do you pick the little white ball out of the round hole i...

Re: Oakdale Gun Club "OGC" Closure

Re: Taurus TRACKER 44 MAG.

May I inquire as to where you found this, and did they happen to have any others? I've been interested in an alternate carry gun, in a large caliber, and this looks like it might fit the bill.

Re: Reloading in 2020

How much do those of us that are retired, figure into the cost of our time? I also consider my reloading time, as entertainment and relaxation. Shooting/Reloading are my hobby, that I thoroughly enjoy. I chose reloading, because I needed a hobby that kept my hands busy, and my mind utilized. I know ...

Re: Reloading in 2020

With a progressive press, less than 6 minutes ;) Once the cases are prepped. With free range brass there will be prep. how much was your progressive setup? You have to figure that into your cost, and your tumbler, and media. If you've got $1500 into your setup, and components cost you $0.10 per rou...

Re: WTF?! Who’re the complete imbeciles emptying the shelves?

I work at the Woodbury Cabelas. As of yesterday we still had some .45 230gr FMJ. Couple of things at play for us. We just had our Second Amendment sale. Our shipments have been slower. Our truck we usually get on Sundays was postponed. If I had a nickel for everyone who asked about 9mm or bulk .223...

With a progressive press, less than 6 minutes ;) Once the cases are prepped. With free range brass there will be prep. What "Prep"? Putting the cases into and out of a tumbler takes all of 3 minutes. You don't count the tumbling time, because you can be doing other things. Once on the Pro...
