Feds finalize tighter regulations on gun stabilizing braces

What happens when you have a registered SBR but you take the brace off? Does it become a pistol and you are safe to go hunting?

I guess building another pistol lower is cheap enough too, then you can move the upper from SBR to Pistol depending on the need.

Feds finalize tighter regulations on gun stabilizing braces

Does the car rule apply to SBR or AR Pistol or both? I thought I read on this site it was for AR Pistols.

Feds finalize tighter regulations on gun stabilizing braces

Okay so let me get my head around this- Hypothetically speaking, if I built a totally awesome 300AAC upper with a 9" barrel, the Minnesota DNR says it qualifies as a legal deer-taking handgun in areas south of the rifle/shotgun border. And although it hypothetically has a buffer tube, (totally...

New ATF final ruling: Pistol (Brace) vs SBR

Seriously, isn't there any movement (other than wishing) to repeal the short-barreled rifle and suppressor provisions of the NFA? Isn't someone in the House advancing legislation on this? I don’t follow politics that closely, but I get the impression that SBRs are being positioned as the next EVIL ...

Feds finalize tighter regulations on gun stabilizing braces

I am still trying to wrap my mind around this part of the announcement: https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20230116/f2791ee5c20dbfd2b299fe4469764dbd.png First paragraph suggests disabled individuals can continue to use some braces but not others? Are they planning to evaluate all of th...

Need advise: Geco ammo with TRN brass

Ivan…, wondering what you decided to do with this ammo. Last range visit I went through two boxes of the boxed variety and it ran OK for me.

Is .40s&w effectively done?

This is one pistol caliber I managed to avoid, went straight to 10mm. Some of the factory 10mm ammo is loaded to 40sw specs though, so you can say I shoot it once in a while :)

Where to buy from private parties?

The only time I bought at a gun show, it was an FFL that had the pistol I wanted and I do think I could have gotten a better deal at a local store.

Same here. Have been keeping optic boxes too but shelf is running out of space so need to start tossing some out.

Two Years For A Suppressor

Thanks for sharing and what a cluster ***. I’ve considered the dealer/store I think you dealt with because they are 10 mins away but they seem to get either great or horrible reviews and I decided not to roll the dice. Especially that some reviews talk about them not even being consistently open dur...

Need advise: Geco ammo with TRN brass

115 gr TMJ loose in the ammo can? I just got one of those too but have not looked at it yet. I also have few boxes of this same 115gr TMJ I ordered in March but have not used any yet, as far as I remember. There was a recall in May but my lot number is different. My prior experience with Geco was in...

commerce dept soliciting holster sales information

3.3 holsters per handgun - is that accounting for a back-up gun or in case of guns like 1911s compatibility between multiple guns? ;)
