Re: The UPS man just stopped by.

So how many Service Rifle barrels have you replaced now? And what would you estimate has been the round count on them?

Re: New York AG seeks NRA dissolution

This escapade may have less to do with alleged wrongdoing than it does with increasing her name recognition before she runs for higher office. If the lawsuit succeeds, she's a hero to an particular audience. If the lawsuit fails, she's a hero to the same audience. For her, it's a win - win si...

Re: Do you trust StackOn?

It’s better than nothing..... I did my due diligence by making a reasonable effort to secure my firearms. Even though some 'gun safes' can be breached, I bought mine to keep honest people honest, and kids safe. So it's more likely that the insurance company would honor a replacement claim, as well ...

Re: Major missle 'oops'!!??

Dont be so hard on the Iranians folks...after all they invented condoms.
Yep...they used the intestine of a goat.

The Irish later improved it greatly.
They took the intestine out of the goat before putting it on.

Re: Rep Hanson responds to my emails

Rep. Kelly Morrison responded to my e-mails with a form letter essentially saying 'we have to agree to disagree'. I responded by asking why Due Process was being ignored in the proposed Red Flag statute, and ... crickets. :x

Re: Are they never going to give up? Stevens still denies Heller

Stevens is so full of resentment that he lost in the Heller decision that he is still sore about it. I see his latest statements as not just sour grapes, but a supposed 'basis' for other leftists to claim in propaganda. Even though he is retired from the court he thinks he still has influence.

Re: FMJ Model DD 45/410 Derringer SXS

These were distributed by at least three companies: Leinad, Cobray, and FMJ. There are three models: Model D (Single Shot), Model DD (Over Under), and Model DD (Side by Side). Numrich has a few parts. Click on the model name to see their parts list for each; https://www.gunpartscorp.com/...

Re: How to defend yourself in church

Some metro churches, like mine, are scheduling active shooter training. We are assembling a Safety Team to send there. A comprehensive emergency plan will be developed as part of the overall effort. It will be a multi-layered approach with observation to try to be ahead of an issue, notification pro...

Re: Caseless Telescoped Ammo

Here's a link to a 2013 article that briefly discusses guns using cased telescoped ammunition; http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2013/05/21/cased-telescoped-ammo/ A more recent (2016) article about plastic (polymer) cased ammunition. This looks more likely to me to be adopted any time s...
