Re: New Generation of Shooters

Why is everyone getting their underbritches in a twist about country music and prayer breakfasts. If the goal is a more inclusive NRA they should be maintained to continue to include their traditional base. If someone feels left out because someone else went to a prayer breakfast I'm betting they ca...

Re: First Revolver Need Opinions on Ruger vs. S&W

My experience is that, generally speaking, the S&W revo's are more refined but the Rugers are heartier. At least the OP didn't ask the Glock/1911 question.

The subject says it. A Weider Pro 4100 home gym for free, just come and get it. I bought it from another board member a couple years ago for $50. It is used but not abused. I am moving to Texas and this just isn't going in the truck. Thanks for looking. 20140407_061457.jpg 20140407_061553.jpg UPDATE...

Re: The First Bang Ping of 2014

20140322_124407.jpg I should still be around for this one. Can I shoot this? Sure, i dont mind moving up the ladder. Sadly, I don't have a holster for MvM. I will have to make due with my HK I suppose. :) Going to use your practice gun :) :) Only if Benny and China relax the 2-10 line rule for low ...

Re: Steel Shoots 2014

You'll be fine as long as you don't get suckered into one of Benny's "bonus" targets. And if you do get sucked into one don't keep shooting at it "because it's personal now." And if you do let it get personal, under absolutely no circumstances is it worth it to empty a 15 round m...

Re: New Acquisition - Taurus M85 Polymer Protector

I saw a yt vid for a version of the 85 with a clear poly side plate so you can see the guts in action. It could make for a good training tool. I think the calld it the model 85 View.

Re: My Carry Cunundrum - Kahr CW9 or PM9 or KM9

Mrs. C. had a CW9 up until recently. It functioned well on everything we fed it except for some 147 gr handloads that also gave an USP a hard time. Only sold it to fund a something more appropriate for her to carry.

Re: .223 Rem Streaks on Brass

If you knew me and my history with dremels better you would have included several EFFEN's in your last post and probably advised me to RTFM twice then back slowly away from the power tools. ;) The only reason my Mini never saw a full day on the bench is that I purchased spares of every part I planne...

A true statement.

Re: Steel Shoots 2014

I have a 9mm but it's an XDS, not the most desirable for target shooting. My only other pistol is a Berretta Neos which seems a little small and at the moment likes to stovepipe on me. I saw someone shooting a Shield last year. You will need at least two magazines. If you can come up with four you ...

I got it clean with bore cleaner, 600 grit and a lot of patience. Thanks to all for the advice and PM's.
