When I first met Doug, I was a little weirded out by his DL policy. It's actually a good measure for him, given his exposure in doing these lessons with strangers.

In the years since, we've become good friends and his depth of knowledge is just a bonus.

I have the Vortex 3x prism scope just like it, and paid $300 which I though was doing good.

I used to have that on my .458S pistol, but recently upgraded both .458's to Steiner 1-4x24 p4xi's.

I snagged a Vortex strike eagle 1-6x24 Opmod (optics planet FDE anodizing and extra crosshairs on the etched reticle) for $225 shipped a few weeks back. That's now on my lightweight 5.56 SHTF rifle. It'll be interesting to see how the subtensions work out since no one running 5.56/.223 is ever shoot...

Yeah, I made that mistake too. It's been boxed up waiting for me to invest another $15 into getting a warranty repair for at least 3 years. That's after sitting in the factory box broken for a good 6 prior.

Holosun makes Primary Arms red dots. PA covers them for life, so they must not be too worried about it.

I have a PA microdot on my 5.56 7.5" pistol. Great budget optics!

FF has expanded their gun department big time lately. It's like the Baxter range showroom moved into the sporting goods department.
