Re: Optics for a M&P9C

Still rather use my CTs in a SD situation, at SD ranges. ( bad breath to 25yds) I like most in a SHTF situation will be looking down range at the BG not going for the "perfect" sight picture.. If the CTs fail my irons are still an option. Try that with a dot or reflex sight. (I have both ...

Re: Optics for a M&P9C

L&M and I think AEI? are the others I was looking at for slide milling.

RMO2 I think the battery life is 2yrs but everyone suggest changing once a year on a anniversary date/bday daylights saving time etc.

Re: Optics for a M&P9C

I have a G19 with an RMR milled into the slide, you are welcome to try it out some time. Using it has really improved my trigger control, because I can see even the most minor movement. It also makes shooting accurately at longer range much easier, 25 yard head shots no longer require much effort. ...

Re: 6x45 AR

Been running a 18" Dtech for several years using #1510 75gr Sierra HPs for coyote and 95 Noslers for deer.
Have had pretty good luck using AA2015 no sizzleing muzzle velocities but happy with the 3/8" groups

Re: Awesome deal

I would leave it alone, some manufacturers design the stock channel to put predictable upward pressure on the barrel, my 7mm rem mag is like this and shoots better not free floated. Shoot the gun and see what it is capable of as-is before messing with it IMHO. What he said, See what it shoots like ...

Re: Optics for a M&P9C

I have seen the dovetailed rail but it adds height the sight.

Tried a CT equipped gun and found the dancing dot distracting, Maybe a RMR is as bad which is why I am hesitant to lay out the bucks just to try it out.

Trijicon RMR ® The Trijicon RMR (Ruggedized Miniature Reflex)

The $700-800 prices was to include shipping the slide out to have it Milled, I think that Bowie Tactical and one other offers these services that I know of.

Optics for a M&P9C

With my ageing eyes I am considering putting a RMR on a 9C for carry. Having never tried this type of set up I am hesitant to spend the money without knowing what to really expect, Between the optics and sending the slide out to have it milled I would be looking at $700-800. Anyone using this or sim...

Re: Who has an M&P9c

Apex trigger
TFO sights
My older eyes would really like to try one set up with optics, Wish S&W would come out with a C-COR version.
I prefer the feel of the mag with the pinky rest on it over the flat floorplate, And if wanted for a extra mag you can use a 17rd.

Re: SEXY 1911

The grip screws don't line up quite so well on the double diamond grips.
