Re: 2nd Saturday North Breakfast- -Saturday 9 July

This new 2nd Saturday facilitator has got it all going on, doesn't he, with those fancy graphics? Puts the darned former facilitator to shame! I plan to be at breakfast. There is almost always another event or two going on, but we usually get at least a dozen guys and gals even with the other events...

Re: My First CCW Badge

It may be that an overt display of a carry badge by a 70 year old out walking in a place where there have been multiple assaults is an attempt on his part to let it be well known to any and all thugs that he is armed. Certainly the last thing a 70 year old needs is to be assaulted and this may be a ...

Re: Mexican soldiers cross into US (Texas)

It is certainly true about the signs--there are virtually no English signs down in the border areas any more. We were in Sante Fe and couldn't read anything as we traveled around. And as far as the "Grand" Rio Grande being impossible not to recognize, a little story--we were down in Big Be...

Re: New acceptable reason for firing your gun...

What next? Cops writing threads giving us peasants instructions on how to get along with them so we aren't put in danger? I guess "to protect and serve" has sort of gotten lost.... Increasingly the police force is becoming the sharp edge of the sword of a government determined to take its ...

Re: McCain blames illegals for AZ fires...

If we are talking about the Wallow Fire on the border of NM and Arizona, I have serious doubts that any illegal immigrants have been spotted going through the area! If any of you have been in that area, you will know that it is about a million miles from anywhere, lush deep pine forests with no civi...

Re: ccw intoxicated on private property

Those are snowmobiles. He's talking 4-wheeler. The difference is that I crash snowmobiles (FYI). It sounds like so much fun... in theory... :( I wish there were some way you could be drunk and shoot responsibly while operating an ATV... alas... further proof there is no merciful God. So much for in...

I carry the M&P 9. I competed with the M&P Pro 9. I couldn't speak more highly of either gun.

Re: Anyone Want .38 Special Brass?

It's yours if you can use it. Are you going to be at breakfast tomorrow morning? I can bring it if you are.

Anyone Want .38 Special Brass?

A friend gave me 350 once-shot American Eagle .38 special brass which he recently bought and shot. He even put them all back in the boxes! I don't reload but I said I would find someone who could use them. I can bring them to the north breakfast tomorrow.
