Carry at the mall.

If you or I violate the law in front of the police, we can expect to receive some kind of fine. Yet the malls POST it and nothing happens. Ignoring a "no guns" sign on a store, or a mall (or a theater) isn't violating the law in this state (or in Colorado). And that's why I ignore them. U...

Carry at the mall.

Strad, I respect a guy that can admit when he is wrong. I understand my view may be short sighted. And that I may change those views with time. But that hasn't happened yet. So let's agree to disagree on this one.

Carry at the mall.

Strad, you are a pro at quoting. Please quote where I said I wanted to get into arguments with strangers while OCing. My comments were simply that I just wanted to get the first negative encounter behind me so I could learn from it.

Carry at the mall.

Strad, I am new to the carry life. I don't see how that disqualifies my logic. It's either sound or it's not. I understand that newcomers need to be hazed in but at some point the " your new so calm down" needs to dropped. My opinions aren't any less valid because I'm new to the forum.

Carry at the mall.

I must say that with the massacre in Colorado, we should all have a personal interest in this subject. Maniacs pick posted places because the people in them can't defend themselves. I agree with the OP that malls cannot legally post as fun free zones. They know that and simply hope people will respe...

Thinking of new handgun for home defense

I carry a Glock 23 daily. For me it's the perfect size. Still concealable but higher capacity. It's also slimmer than a .45 caliber glock. I do have trijicon night sights and a stainless steel guide rod. As well as Talon grips. I've been thinking about a smaller frame for worry free concealability b...

Just Relocated to Eden Prairie

Welcome to Minnesota!! Bills Gun Range in Robbinsdale is nice and only 15 minutes north on Hwy 100. Pay attention to events section on this forum. Lots of great people and knowledge. I'd be happy to go to the range and show you around.

Re: 14 dead, 50 wounded at Colorado Theater during Dark Knight

It saddens me to see the reaction of the Aurora Massacre by the media and politicians. Not surprisingly they are calling for more gun control. The other side of the gun debate is calling for more guns. I would like to offer a third option. By banning weapons in certain public and "private but o...

Wife threw away my Serpa 2 belt clip.

Thats right. She was cleaning and threw away the package that my serpa holster came in. Of course I left the belt clip in the package. How silly of me :shameonyou: I still have the paddle holster piece, but would like to have the belt clip. Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance.

Yes, Noon. Will be meeting at the Tin Fish on the east side of the lake, just south of Lake st. Please see the attached link for all the details. The City of Minneapolis has said that we cannot hand out literature to the public unless they approach you.
