Re: Possible Primer Problem?

I too was lured by the siren song of the cheap S&B primers at Cabela's last winter. I've loaded and shot almost 1k of large rifle in a variety of calibers, and almost 2k of small pistol in 9mm ammo.
Zero problems here, I'd buy more.

WTS-Double Alpha competition belt

Double Alpha competition double belt. Great solid, stiff belt for USPSA or other competition. Inner and outer velcro belt with keeper, size 42, black. I wore this maybe 8 times last year, lost some weight so this one doesn't fit me anymore. My loss is your gain. :) This looks brand new. Here is the ...

Re: Gun Friendly Optometrist

I got great service from Gorman Optical in Roseville. A small place, but that woman really knows her stuff. Made me a great pair of shooting glasses a few years ago. Something that I tried lately, though, is these stickon lenses... http://www.walmart.com/ip/38092969?wmlspartner=wlpa&adid=2222222...

Appleseed at Oakdale Gun Club in February

I see that there's a one day Appleseed Project shoot scheduled at Oakdale Gun Club on Saturday, February 20.
I've been thinking about dressing warm and attending, who else will be going?

Re: S&W Model 41...

Congrats, they are fine shooters. Mine is not ammo picky, but loves regular old CCI Standard Velocity.

Re: Do and don't of getting a used safe

Another vote for Ruth Piano Movers. Very professional, almost made it look easy. Almost.
I think I would change the combination on a used safe.

Re: 9mm 1911

In our house, we have a Springfield Loaded stainless 9mm, and a 9mm Range Officer. Both have been great pistols, don't have any issues, accurate, pleasant to shoot.

Re: 9mm CBC brass reject rate?

I also have issues with CBC brass in 9mm. It seems to work OK when I'm loading jacketed bullets, but when I load my larger diameter cast projectiles, I get a large percentage that fail the case gauge. I just sort them out, and don't use them anymore for cast reloads. Brass walls thicker maybe? Stiff...

Re: Any one looking for a little lead?

And I'd be looking for a divorce lawyer right after it arrived. Wow, what a pile of lead!

Re: Advice for private sales: location?

Same as everyone else-parking lots. I like big parking lots with lots of open space, able to park away from crowds. I'll leave the gun in the car or trunk, easy to inspect without waving it about.
Menards, Fleet Farm have worked well for me, and easy for people to find.
