Re: Heartbreak at Gunstop today

I was told lowballing would be a better term... Anyhow it would be funny to walk in with the 31st Edition Blue Book of Gun Values which they use minus 30+% to estimate how much they'll give you for a firearm, then compare their floor prices to the same book . Since you said this same thing in one o...

Re: Cheapest place for 1911 mags?

Wilson, Chip, Metalform all work great in all my 1911s. I gravitated to Wilson 47Ds, ended up putting Tripp 7 round kits in most of mine. Truth be told, every mag I have ever used has worked. I have a decent assortment if you want to borrow any before you buy. Very cool. Might take ya up on this. ;)

Cheapest place for 1911 mags?

Looking for some quality mags for the 1911, so many of them and so many places sell them. CM, Wilson, Mec-gar, etc... where do you buy yours? And where have you found the best prices? Re: Local 1911 Gunsmiths that are "Upper Class"

I agree... Think the only things I really need/want them to do is the front strap and crown the barrel.

Other than that I think I'll do the rest myself. I had a few guys talk me out of it already! ;)

Thanks for the good info as always...
