Um, I've done it TWICE and they replaced it twice free of charge.

Re: AR15 in 12 Gauge??

I thought I saw one that looked like one, but not a separate upper and lower. Not really sure what the point was and wouldn't be surprised if they are not being made any more.

Re: Firing Line (Sauk Rapids)

They do have a monopoly on the indoor range market in the area so that does help explain the prices. I imagine that come summer there will be some kind of discount day because they will be competing with outdoor ranges.

Firing Line (Sauk Rapids)

Finally got out to the Firing Line in Sauk Rapids. Nice range, friendly staff you should check it out if you get to the St. Cloud area.

Been open for a month and I din't see any holes in the ceiling in the lane I had.

Re: A stupid reloading question...

Good answers, and a secondary thing to look out for is OAL when loading different bullets. Assuming you have a 230 grain 45 cal SWC and a 230 grain Round Nose (ball) bullets that are both jacketed, loading them to the same OAL and expecting the same results is dead wrong!! The RN's always have long...

Re: Low/light charges

Use the old Lyman cast bullet manual and load reduced loadings as specified. Try UNIQUE powder. Dirty, but safe. For reduced loads, cast bullets will not "lead-up" the barrels, and accuracy will be very good. Contact "Dakota Red" for his cast bullets which are tumble lubed, whic...

Re: Low/light charges

snip I've been thinking of playing around with loads at the bottom end, is it just as important when loading at the low end to weight each charge (specifically the lowest charge listed). What cartridge are you considering playing around with? My understanding is most overpressure problems arise fro...

Low/light charges

Ok a gorilla/troll has stated that when nearing the max load listed each individual charge should be weighted.

Re: Gun Sight Paint

I've used automotive touch up paint, and that didn't work too well. Right now I'm using cheap nail polish seems to be holding up, with Halloween coming up it should be easier to find some bizarre colors that would work well.

"Common" issues

So what are the "common" issues that could be encountered in reloading?

Underloaded/no powder
Overloaded
Too much crimp
