Re: Place to shoot outdoors next week?

Or I would have offered, as it is my 62 acres of heaven/backyard. Technically we are open to the public 7 days a week 8am-4pm, starting September the 27th Brit Or, more technically, since the club is in fact open on both Saturday 9/25 & Sunday 9/26, OGC will be open 58 consecutive days , from 9...

Re: Find the Facepalms...

JustinPo wrote:So aside from the spelling error in the YouTube title and trap people using their feet as a gun rest what did I miss?

Barrel on the foot is an accepted practice while shooting trap, they even sell small leather discs that you lace into the bottom part of your shoe.

Re: I wonder how long before these two men are charged

I have not had a lot of experience with them and have never shot one. But, in the first holster class I took, a very good class offered by Force Options, one of the students had one. It was a jam-o-matic as well. Enough info for a scientific study? No. But I still haven't found a good enough reason...

Re: So I go into the kitchen for another glass of wine...

We've had an 8 and a 10 point hanging around together on the trap hill out here, both in velvet, hides are very red this year.
Wild Turkey with a brood of 6 were out the back door this morning. 8-)

Re: Overcooked Pistol

Maybe it's me, but I can't come up with a situation where having a gun in the oven would be the best option. Even if you go to the extreme and say you have a sadistic mass murderer break in, start torturing you, and he sticks your head in the oven - I'm pretty sure the oven would be hot first, so y...

Re: Charges: Maplewood man used gun to oust bat from home

Reminds me of a post in another forum where a guy used a shotgun to kill a bat in his house. He was all butt hurt when people ripped on him for doing it. I guess if you're going to go after a bat in your house with a firearm, a shotgun is a better choice than a .38. I'm not saying a good choice, bu...

Re: Email to Mark Dayton

Is he in the process of buying running for another political office? With those "crazy eyes" he looks like he's about to bolt and take off running in one direction or the other, what is WRONG with his eyes, did he quit the program and is white knuckling it or what? I don't know wh...
