Ammo your limited to federal only, pri mags or Barrett. I have a cheap one and it feeds horribly and really causes issues.
It's a brand new round so mags and ammo hasent been around to become cheaper.
Ammo is 10ish a box to 24ish
Good mags are 36 to 50.

Overall I'm impressed with the American eagle holding a decent group, with an ok trigger release and a brand new gun.

For a brand new round it's not badly priced.

I wish magpul would make one that fits the ar15 lower.

There's a point where some prices are a joke. I haven't had issues with the factory mags and they are about 15$ cheaper.
I honestly think Barrett stuff is over priced only thing they make that's a decent price is m82a1 but at 7500 it's not exactly cheap.

50$ per mag, way over priced in my opinion.

Shot it the American eagle seems fine. Dosent like the cheaper mags, feed the pri mag without any issues.

I haven't even been shooting yet this year.

I tired brownells before they pissed me off so I just stick with midway.

yeah seen that I can get it at cabelas for the same price as online without the hazmat shipping costs.

400$ for a pump that's basically about what the rest go for in the low end that if seen other then maverick
