WHY???

...why do we have, collect, carry, and shoot guns? Briefly for me, growing up in the Appalachian Mtns. most people shoot. I was nine when the BB gun became a .22 So of late, when I'm being dismissed by the 'anti's' they have said "so it's part of your culture"...yes, I guess it is. My stor...

Re: MWCA show at the coliseum 3-15/16

It was a crazy day today with over 5000 paid attendance + the members that don't get figured into the total. We still have some $10.20 Pmags left as well as XD & Glock mags on sale. 9 & 40 Shield mags in stock and some Girl Scout cookies as well. :) I believe it! Your table was packed when ...

Re: Just bought my first 1911

Congrats on a great first 1911. There is a simple modification that you can do to the slide stop to help avoid the idiot scratch. It's talked about here. http://forums.1911forum.com/showthread.php?t=214653 There are a lot of good you tube videos on assy and dis-assembly If you're looking for a serie...

Re: Kimber 1911

I have one Kimber. It's a 5" Custom Eclipse from around 2000. It's a very accurate gun.
Two buddies have new Kimbers and they have both spent a lot of time back at Kimber.

This sure looks interesting to me...http://forums.1911forum.com/showthread.php?t=440796
I would sure like to hold one.

Re: Announcing St. Croix Firearms Training!

Good deal!! There has been a need for more women training women, and there just haven't been trainers to handle the need. If you want, I can always show up in my 800 pound troll persona with my Smith 500 and some hot 1950 FPS loads and scare off all the hubbies and boyfriends who are trying to give...

Re: which show to attend??

Last year at Anoka there was a lot of junk/stuff and not as many guns.
It was more like a flea market leaning towards guns.

Re: CCO 1911 - what do people think of that?

Having bigger hands, I prefer the full length of a government frame's grip. I don't think the 1/2" length reduction changes the concealability of the gun at all, as the leading corner of the front strap is only moved a fraction of an inch towards the wearers torso, and the rest of it doesn't e...

Re: CCO 1911 - what do people think of that?

Thanks!

Word on 1911 forums is that most people think DW is the best production 1911 made.

The Springer won't be recognizable when it comes back from Alchemy Custom Weaponry.
I hope to carry it.

Greg at Tractus has two CCO's FYI. http://tractusarms.com/collections/all
