Re: 2/7 Hearings

Though most of the testimony is now duplication, I feel terrible for those that aren't going to be able to testify due to time constraint.

The man from the Phillips neighborhood is doing a tremendous job.

Re: Live capitol feed today?

Pictures of dead children.

"An Ordway commitment over a gun hearing?" Good job Rep Cornish pointing that out!

It's nice to see how educated he is on the subject.

Re: Live capitol feed today?

I sure enjoyed the question to Jim Davnie (DFL) when he was asked by Rep Newberger (R) if he actually talked to the staff of the school and did they really state they felt unsafe. He called BS on Davnie's BS.

On edit: The next 40 minutes makes me sick.

Re: strange times we are living in

Thanks for posting that video. There were some very decent questions. I think it's even possible that the sheriff changed his tune during that Q & A. Either that or he showed a bit of bravery speaking his mind.

Re: Poll on Carrying

I carried less and less because I found the gun to be a hassle. I do have a gun in my steering wheel column holster at least 50% of the time. It would be great to have a true secure arm rest as the under the seat safe doesn't fit nicely. As soon as I find a new holster for my new smaller gun, I expe...

Re: First post - Thoughts on Kimber Solo CDP?

I picked up the Solo this morning after church. I was so excited I forgot to pay the FFL (of course I was reminded just before leaving his house  ) I found field stripping it to be a breeze. What a nice clean setup. It was a bit tough at first to take the take down lever out, but I watched ...

Harvard Law White Paper

http://www.law.harvard.edu/students/orgs/jlpp/Vol30_No2_KatesMauseronline.pdf I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but here is an interesting document from the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy. The last paragraph says it all. If you are surprised by [our] finding[s], so [are we]. [We] did...

I'm in Baxter. The new range and gun shop has a great selection of ammo. It's a real impressive place.
