Re: July Revolver Bang Ping

The revolver steel shoot was another great success. A bit wet at times, but nothing that was not taken in stride. Again a big thank you to all the RO'S, the score keeper and all who helped set up and tear down. Of course a huge thank you to Benny and China, who put so much effort in to keep this who...

Re: What can I use for an improvised axe sheath?

I have always used a short length of hose pipe (garden hose) split length wise. Keep in there with tape or rubber bands.

Re: Training teachers to shoot back

What jumped out at me was the money spent: $17,500 for 2 students. I wonder what training one could get for nearly $9000 at GunSite or someplace similar. The first thing I thought of from reading the story, and the terms used, was this training being done by Tactical Response. I know that their 5 d...

Re: June Bang Ping Results

And now I wait for Mr. Cannon and his full breakdown and to put up his pretty colours and pie charts and graphs (I think he used to do the front page of USA Today). Thanks to all who helped, worked and kept us safe. Of course the biggest thanks again goes to Benny and China. If you have extra old pa...

Re: carrying cased long gun on motorcycle

This reminded me of being a teenager, before I could drive in the mid to late 70's. I lived in North Minneapolis and to get to my cousins house, who was the only person that could take me hunting, I had to take a bus downtown, walk a good few blocks and then take another bus. What I did and not sure...

Re: Warning about Ammoload brass!!!

Any reason why the ledge is put in? Only thing I can come up with is to prevent bullet set back.

Re: Hi Power restoration

Seems to me he could have sold it to a collector, taken the cash and bought a new one. Then, with the cash left over, picked up a restoration project sans historical value. O well, his gun and his money.

Re: ASP batons

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong (and I'm sure I will be) but is it not illegal, even with a permit to carry, to carry any kind or brand of "collapsible baton" on your person?

Re: Steel targets

+1 on the shoot steel.com steel. Only thing better than the bang, is the ping and the ring that follows.
