Stripped and refinished the stock with Linseed oil, added a recoil pad that may actually be harder than the steel it replaced....

Yep, that's what his look like. And if memory serves me right, I think he said his didn't come with the fixed mag. So thus the quest to find a mag that doesn't suck!

A buddy of mine has an SKS (Norinco I think), that he can't seem to find a reliable magazine for it, other than the one Chinese mag that it came with.
