Wanted: 45-60 brass

Anyone have some 45-60 brass for sale. I know you can make it from 45-70, but I don't want to take that route yet.

Rifle blueing source

Hey everyone,

I've got a nice old Marlin 39A rimfire that I would like to doll up a bit. Wondering who you would suggest for getting a lever action rifle re-blued. I've already checked out Alhmans. I'm north east of the cities a bit

Re: AR10 upper to lower receiver fit is loose.

I'm going to use pin gauges to get an accurate diameter of all the holes and see where things are at. With the current pins there is probably.005 gap between the upper and lower. You can literally shake them.

Re: AR10 upper to lower receiver fit is loose.

I’ve left a message with them, but no response yet. I believe it is going to take a bit more then just pins that are a thousand or two oversized.

AR10 upper to lower receiver fit is loose.

Hello everyone, Bouncing an idea off of you. Could the take down pin holes be reamed and re-pinned easily? Who would you bring the firearm to to have that done, and what would need to be done about the annodizing that would be machined away? My matched set is matched only in color, and I have had it...

Re: How's The Deer hunting Going?

My Marlin 336 death ray took both a smaller buck and a medium doe this year. Hunted north of Taylors Falls. Plenty of does and 3 bucks seen.

Beretta 92X Performance

Just picked up a new toy. Ran one box thru it this afternoon. Very happy with the trigger, sights, and controls. I haven't dialed it in completely yet but thumbs up. I did shoot a standard 92 for comparison, definitely a better trigger and sights. Recoil is very manageable. The beaver tail sits a bi...

Re: Aero Precision .308 lower receiver magazine catch problem

Nope, I pulled the release out, reinstalled without plunger, or spring and applied agressive finger pressure to fully seat the mag release and it still wasn't grabbing the mag fully. Foolishly I tired to bend the mag release with a light tap of a hammer. Snapped in half immediatly, must be that funn...

Aero Precision .308 lower receiver magazine catch problem

I had bought a couple from Brownells when they were on sale. Put the lowers together and installed a functioning upper. Pulled the trigger and the magazine dropped out. This happened on both builds. Apparently they had a batch of lowers where the magazine catch wasn't going in far enough to engage t...

1911 plunger tube installation

Hey everyone, I have a bare frame that needs this tube installed to move forward with the build. Any tips, tricks or suggestions on who could do this for me. This is a one time deal, so don't really want to invest in a specialized tool. I hear they have a knack of falling out if done incorrectly. An...

Re: RPR now in 300WM & 338LM

I'm loading the .338 for about a buck-fifty a round minus the cost of the brass. 91 gr retumbo 285 gr Hornady 285 gr ELD COAL 3.75 which is max for the magazine from what I've read.. So far the Ruger RPR seems to like it. Haven't shot any real distance yet, but planning on heading up to Harris this ...
