Re: Republican would-be Presidents court NRA

When the alternative is Hillary Clinton, it's time to hold your nose and back a Republican. Keep voting for the lesser of two evils and the result is still evil... The Duopoly wants you to keep voting and thinking it actually matters. It's too bad there isn't anti-trust legislation against politica...

Re: BLM stand-off in Nevada...close to 'war' or 'Range War'

My personal interest in this story had nothing to do with who the Bundy's were; and everything to do with whether or not our government was overstepping their boundaries. Whether or not Cliven Bundy is a racist has zero impact on that.

Re: Bloomberg Failure in 3... 2... 1...

Amusing, but Bloomberg worries me too much to dismiss him as a joke. Above all else, politicians listen to money and voting blocks. Bloomberg has money to burn, and there are millions of hoplophobes out there. All Bloomberg has to do is frame the debate as the "right" of the people to be ...

Re: From the NRA-ILA - HF1944 / SF1915

HF 1944 and SF 1915 would require organizations like the NRA, who engage in political speech, to immediately disclose the names of many of their donors, including those who pay membership dues. These bills are intended to suppress political speech by organizations such as the NRA and others who com...

Re: Confiscation has begun in Connecticut.

There doesn't need to be a revolution. It would be folly to attempt to fight the "government" or the troops/police. There is a more common sense approach. To target those, relatively few, legislators and judges who pass and uphold these treasonous and unconstitutional infringements. Those...

Re: Confiscation has begun in Connecticut.

I think what's at issue in this is whether the CT law could be challenged and considered "unreasonable" and also whether confiscation itself, under no pretext, is unconstitutional. It has been Challenged and it has been appealed. http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2014/01/matt-in-fl/breakin...

Re: Confiscation has begun in Connecticut.

So are you insinuating that when "they" start knocking on doors, you'd just stand by and allow it to happen? If I'm alone and they are many, well armed, in full tactical gear, have the drop on me, and I've zero chance of escape or survival, yep. Because again, what purpose would my death ...

Re: Confiscation has begun in Connecticut.

I couldn't care less if 99.9% of the great state of Minnesota voted to take every one of my firearms. It would still be wrong and they can come get them if they dare. Why? Because this isn't a pure democracy. We are a Republic in which certain rights are recognized, not granted, by our Constitution...

Re: Confiscation has begun in Connecticut.

As crappy and scary as the thought of gun registration and confiscation is, it might not be unconstitutional. There's a difference between registration as a permissible regulation and registration as good policy. Gun registration has happened in this country in the past. It's just that in the 18th &...

Re: New Smart Gun

Here's a link to a new smart gun thats being sold in California! http://www.foxnews.com/tech/2014/02/20/first-smart-pistol-shelves-in-california/?intcmp=features When the RFID-equipped watch is activated by a PIN number and placed near the gun — like when a shooter grips the handle — it sends a sig...

Re: Legalized Marijuana and Firearms.

It is clear that States legalizing or decriminalizing marijuana is putting real pressure on the federal government to make adjustments -- to policy at least, even if not to federal law....And while policy changes might be comforting to some, a policy is not a law. Policy can be tightened down again...
