Re: Sig P220 Spring help

I'll have to try them out. It just kind of made me wonder why one review says they work great and another says they don't even fit. Maybe one had an early model that has a differant guide rod. I hate to put to much faith in the reviews to begin with since anyone can post one.

Sig P220 Spring help

I replaced my spring this year with at the factory recomended interval of 5000 rounds. The problem is I am not entirely satisfied with the fatory spring. The reviews on Midway did not seem to favor the springs available. Has anyone replaced a 220 spring with an aftermarket with good luck? I like to ...

I have more brass available for those of you that missed out on the last batch. They are all in boxes of 500. The Fedral brass has some slight stains on some cases from storage. I found some 9mm with it that had '97 head stamps, the brass is assumed to be about 10 years old. PM with questions or to ...

Re: question about dies

You do not need to lube with these dies. They work with a dry case. For the lee carbide crimping die - I have mixed feelings. If I could I would buy 2 more Dillon sets. Too bad they are so much $$. On another note - If you have a Dillon press you will not need an expander die as this is part of the ...

Re: question about dies

For Hornady dies only the sizing die is carbide. Lee makes a carbide crimp die that sizes after the bullet is seated, I have these in 9mm and 45. You should be able to see the carbide insert if you flip the die over. It just looks like a dark doughnut shape pressed into the die.

Re: Sportsman’s Warehouse Closing 23 Stores

Super lame!! I love that place. I can't afford Cabela's and refuse to shop at Gander for various reasons. Oh well... Maybe someone else will try to fill the gap.

Re: loading .223 - what powders meter well?

I have had very good luck with 335 and 50gr Hornady SPSX bullets. Works well on dog hunts regardless of temp changes. Meters better in the Dillon than my Redding.

Re: .243 brass and ammo

To the best of your knowledge do you think this brass is once fired, or do you think it has been loaded before.
