Re: Matthew Grace and Pink Pistols v. District of Columbia

There have been a few people on this board who have been reminding people over the years that the Homophobic rhetoric that pops up on here from time to time is very disruptive to the broad base of support that the 2A cause could benefit from. This is a perfect example of how 2A issues can be champi...

Re: Things to Consider When You Buy a “Safe Queen”

Just to put things in perspective. You purchased a 13 year old second hand gun that the manufacturer has no idea what was actually done to it or how it was treated since they saw it 12 years ago and you think they should take care of it. So if you bought a one owner 2004 Corvette that had the recall...

Re: M&P Shield Performance center 9mm or 40s&w?

This argument again on 40 S&W. Not a dam thing wrong with 40 S&W. 9MM may be close if you need to spray and pray but the 40's knock down power will still beat the 9mm. Sure the 9mm have more ammo capacity in a clip but if your a good shot you shouldn't need the extra ammo. Am sure I will be...

Re: M&P Shield Performance center 9mm or 40s&w?

40 isn't dead, dying yes... From a new firearms and ammo sale standpoint if it is not dead it is as close to it as possible without being in the ground. The LE departments that still have it will in most cases dump it on their next scheduled sidearm refresh, USPSA still uses it for limited but I've...

Re: M&P Shield Performance center 9mm or 40s&w?

40 is dead, go 9 or 45. As a whole the 40 market is going away very fast. We just did the Reed's event and out of all the companies represented I think 2 had a 40 to shoot and both said they got little to no time on the line.

Re: Ruger Mark IV Competition Target

I removed the front and rear because they both look like afterbirth and just bolted the reddot on the rail. Heck with my old eyes iron sights are only good for about 15ft anyway.

Re: FTF glock 19 gen 3???

Change ammo. WWB is pretty low quality ammo. Glocks will generally digest anything, but white box is really not very good ammo, especially if you get the Israeli made stuff. When we (Glock armorers) diagnose problems, we go by SAMM. Shooter Ammo Magazine Mechanical If 3 people shoot it and it malfu...

Re: FTF glock 19 gen 3???

If you don't like the advise that guys with 10's of thousands of rounds through Glocks are providing then take it back to the dealer you bought it from or send it in. You should not have to 'break in' a Glock. I've never had one that did not run 100% out of the box. Have you taken it a part - how fa...
