Re: Senate Democrats propose tougher gun restrictions

I wonder if politicians in the 1800s were saying that about the Winchester lever actions and Colt SAAs that were the "weapons of war" in their time.

Re: Senate Democrats propose tougher gun restrictions

^^^^^^

For that matter, why does the background check even need to be firearm related? If a person has a valid Global Entry card, they’ve undergone a far more rigorous process than PTC or NICS.

Re: Senate Democrats propose tougher gun restrictions

Does anyone know the frequency with which backgrounds are re-checked to verify eligibility of PTC holders? I'd assume it's more than the one time at issuance. It's done annually. In addition, the laws were changed in 2014 I believe it was that tightened MN's process on ensuring that a PTP or PTC wa...

Re: Why no good sales on revolvers?

I think that the typical revolver is actually more expensive to produce than most striker fired polymers. With R&D behind them, I'd think Glock can crank out a G19 for less than $100.

You'll need to get your name on the list. I think his production time is out to a couple of years due to high demand.

That photo doesn't even capture the terrible quality of the welds.

It's a 22 that's been turned into a welding project to make a bullpup. Looks worse than the first day of 8th grade shop class.

Re: Dianne Feinstein Pushes Ban on 205 Commonly Owned Semiauto..

Would like top see the list, but google is not my friend today! Anyone have a link? While I understand curiosity about the list, I hope we all understand that ANY ban list is an attack on all of us. Just because someone doesn't happen to own a particular named item, shouldn't give them any comfort ...

Re: Neighbor who came to Jayme Closs' aid: 'We were armed ...'

wait for someone to call for charges against the Kasinskas for brandishing a weapon in the presence of a minor. wouldn't even be surprised if someone thought it wasn't fair that they were armed if this creepy abductor guy came looking for him.. what if we was unarmed and felt threatened? I think yo...

Dang! That would have me a little on edge to walk into a store and buy something "illegal" not knowing who is watching, recording, or waiting to arrest me.

Re: Character of people in general

Since then I've been stocking up on firearms in the pending wake of gun contol 2019 coming up in the CA #2 (Minnesota). I'll be making at least one more purchase before the year is out. If a "ban" passes, we'll be lucky to keep what we have. Selling at a profit will be the least of your c...

Re: Bump fire stocks

I'm guessing that either through existing law or one that will be passed this session, they will be banned in MN by next summer. Whether "ban" means illegal to sell/purchase or illegal to possess depends on who is writing the bill.
