Re: Stock & Barrel Eagan

Too expensive for The Rodentman. I think if you discontinue the $35 a month you'd need to pay the $199 again. BPR isn't new or fancy but it's more reasonable and I am comfortable there.

Re: Gun-seizure laws grow in popularity

On the news I caught a bit of an anti-gun rally at the Capitol. I saw a sign by the podium that read "Actually Guns DO Kill People." I suspect it will be challenging to convince the left wing otherwise. How can people get entrenched in such nonsense. And they talk about "common sense&...

Re: S&W M&P

It holds the extractor in but didn't back out enough to allow the extractor to be affected.

Re: S&W M&P

If it walked out once, it will probably do it again sooner or later. I would order a new pin and replace this one versus just hammering it back. Yeah that's good advice. It seated fairly easily, almost too easily with a few light hammer hits on the punch. I'll knock it out and get a new one, maybe ...

Re: S&W M&P

Thanks! Seems rather clear that the pin is not properly seated sticking out like that. Hopefully nothing will stop the pin from being seated. Maybe I need to disassemble the slide. I will look into that.

Re: What is the status of Coonan?

I think mine was about $1,200 about 6 years ago. I thought it was worth that to me at the time. No I don't think it's a $2,000 gun and I wouldn't buy one in 45acp or 10mm. Too many other fine choices out there. IMHO their marketing is a bit over the top, purporting that it's the greatest thrill and ...

S&W M&P

I have a PC S&W M&P 40. When cleaning it I noticed a pin appearing to be backing out of the underside of the slide. I tried gently pushing it in with a punch, no hammer. I figured I ask here if it is supposed to be flush before I start hammering on it. Thanks... http://www.fototime&#...

Re: What is the status of Coonan?

Sorry to hear this. I got my Coonan about 6 years ago after waiting over a year, but with no upfront $. Too bad they are so mysterious about the circumstances; that doesn't bode well I fear. It's a nice pistol, well made and fun to shoot.

Re: BMT Mooner Tool

I bought one of those when the RIMZ clips did not work out for my 986 7 round 9mm. Works great. Metal clips are really a PIA to load. I use RIMZ for the 10mm revolvers and the 625. I often use 45 auto rim for the 625 though.

The BMT is a great tool.

Re: How Banks Unwittingly Finance Mass Shootings

I buy a lot of stuff on line using my Cabela's card. I usually use the CC for anything over $100. I don't carry much cash. I use the points for reloading supplies. Works great.

The stinking NYT should reject subscriptions paid by CC.

Re: NRA just called

They had been peppering me with calls over the past few months. I took advantage of the renewal of 5 years for $125. if I want to send more $ I know where they are. I don't want the phone calls and I block all numbers I don't recognize when they leave no msg.
