Re: Lyman Digital Trigger Pull Gauge!!!!

Lol, LCR trigger.... That's funny. Actually, it only goes up to 12 lbs, and as I said, its not even mine ;) Totally for shiggles, I just wanted to see what a trigger job can do compared to a replacement such as a geissele trigger or such. Then, since I had it, I wanted to check the other nice trigge...

Re: Springfield m1a. Help me choose?

well, i'm a geek for the Socom 16, but if that's not your cup of tea, i'd say go for the plain jane M1A and rock that bad boy until your heirs need to replace the bbl.... twice..... before inheriting it ;)

Re: AR15 floating hand guards opinions

i agree with a bunch here. the Free Float tube isn't going to be an issue with durability (as long as you don't grab an airsoft part made in Uzbekistan), it will also make the firearm inherently more accurate. if you're shooting from a bench, a 20-24" bull bbl 6.8 would be awesome, but for a wo...

Re: Rem 870 now with pics

Thanks for posting everyone. I am debating on doing a color change to a sand color as well. Also, I am thinking about going to the magpul stock and was wondering if anyone has an opinion on them. I am looking for a functionality opinion....not the fugliness opinion. :D here's the thread that VMan d...

Re: so other than Rainier, who makes a 5R polygonal bbl for ARs?

ideally, this is the one i want. however, the CS at Rainier is less than ideal, and they have no ETA for when these will be available

Re: so other than Rainier, who makes a 5R polygonal bbl for ARs?

Which are you looking for? 5R and Polygonal aren't the same thing. Polygonal barrels: Lothar-Walther Schneider Rifle Barrels Krieger and Obermeyer are the only barrel smiths I know who cut 5R rifling. Krieger has this note on their site. PLEASE NOTE: We are not currently, and have no future plans t...

Re: so other than Rainier, who makes a 5R polygonal bbl for ARs?

Some of the LMT barrels are 5R but good luck finding one Doesn't Rock Creek supply LMT's 5R barrels? i think i heard that. i wouldn't put much stock in that though, privvy information isn't usually devulged on the interweb. s&w does use 5R bbls, but i shoulda specified, i want a STAINLESS, non-...

Re: p238 not impressed feedback wanted

My newer P226 shot low using my light target reloads, and spot on with 230 gr hardball reloads. But I wanted to use my much cheaper bulk cast loads I installed an adjustable sight. My West German P226 shoots the same way, but it is loaded with Personal Protection ammo which makes it great just the ...

Re: Gunsmith for revolver trigger job

I live in the north metro - Lino Lakes. I would also like to actually talk with the 'smith and not just drop my gun off at a gunshop. That can be a bit like playing telephone in grade school. I know about the warranty. The problem is that my 992's DA trigger pull is hideous. I tried the Wolff sprin...

so other than Rainier, who makes a 5R polygonal bbl for ARs?

i looked at Blackhole, they are 3R. i'm specifically looking for a 14.5" bbl, much prefer stainless, don't want or need lightweight or fluted, but i'm also not wanting a heavy-barrel. i'm half tempted to grab a longer bbl and cut it down to length, but i'd rather not go through all that hassle....

Re: SBR laws?

Legally speaking, if you are in posession of a barrel length less than 16", and you also have an AR-15 rifle lower, and don't currently own an SBR or pistol lower, you can be found to be in constructive possession of an unregistered NFA weapon. Just a heads up. correct. similar to having your ...
