Yes, flat profile bullets can cause problems with feeding. Are these factory rounds or handloads? Factory rifle or home build? Factory magazines for the cartridge? My brother just put together an AR in 458 Socom but it's having problems feeding flat nosed bullets from the magazine. It strips the round out of the mag but it gets jammed at like a 30 degree angle and won't go in the chamber. It's like the feed ramp needs to be longer maybe...? Slowly letting the ...
