Curious as to how she measured that distance.

She stated she was lying on her bed, and the bullet hit the wall of the apartment less than 5 ft from where she was.

Re: Biden’s Plan: Eliminate Gun Dealers, Eliminate Guns

You'll recall that Unintended Consequences was written in the depths of the Clinton years, when the BATFE was given a mandate to persecute NFA license holders over the smallest technical irregularity (even if it was the BATFE that created it). With enough laws, everyone will be guilty of something....

Re: California under-21 gun sales ban ruled unconstitutional

Yep. Story says it was a 2-1 ruling, so when Kalifornia appeals to the full court, it will likely be overturned.

Re: Minnesota Sets New Record For Issuing Permits To Carry Guns

387,000 out of a population of 5.7 million = 6.7%. What does the latest census have for a number of underaged people not eligible for a permit? This site says 23% of Minnesota's population is under 18. So that would be 387,000 out of about 4.39 million- about 11.34% You might want to recheck your m...

Re: FFL suggestions south metro area

^^^ Both good options.

Other options:
Accutac Arms (downtown Lakeville)
Mark's Guns (Rosemount - home FFL)

Accutac and Mark's both offer $15 transfers for MN Gun Owners Caucus members.

Re: looking for some sights

M-LOK? On top of the receiver? I'm enough of a newbie to AR platforms that I'm not sure I know what I'm doing. I thought the manual said the rail system was M-LOK. It's for a Springfield Saint Victor. Looking at pictures, it definitely has a picatinny rail on the receiver, and it appears to have a ...

Re: What The Great Ammunition Shortage Says About Inflation

If you do a search on where Wolf is made you will see multiple sources that reference there contract dispute that ended there buying ammo from Tula in 2009. Re: Journalist records brazen car theft in Minneapolis

Does a good job illustrating how few Carry Citizens are actually out there. Those that need the equalizing protection of a firearm are least likely to have one and vice versa. Perhaps it is more an illustration of what the media chooses to cover: Armed good Samaritan foiled Edina carjacking attempt...

Re: George Clooney calls Alec Baldwin’s shooting ‘insane'

I'm not a Clooney fan, but it appears he at least has a layman's understanding of basic firearm safety. It appears others in Hollywood could learn a lot from him.
