Beretta Storm issue

There's his first mistake...he got it from Gander. Hope he got a Pro-Plan with that ;)

All jokes aside, I have not seen that with any of the storms I've shot. I did see a guy who had that issue this week with an M&P Pro 9. It's on it's second trip back to S&W.

The next run on ammo?

After just now finally reading the first two replies of the thread, I wanted to respond with my insight. I'm glad Tapper did. He said exactly what I would have said, but with facts and smart words that differentiate him and I. He knows is lead like Lindsay Lohan knows her white powdery substance.

2nd Saturday meet up: Mr. Pig Stuff, Shakopee

If it wasn't deer opener, I would love to attend. I have yet to partake in functions like this and hope to do so in the future.

Glock 34 Competition Upgrades/Gear

If you aren't looking to spend a ton on sights, push the rear sight in backwards (making it black) then toss on a Hi Viz fiber optic green or red front sight. This option costs you around $25-30 depending on where you find the front sight. Wayyy cheaper than other options and works pretty well. I ha...

Vortex SPARC for $9.99?!?

Vortex has a no questions asked lifetime warranty. Good score indeed. I've even heard of vortex not requesting the old, broken product back. But that was years ago, probably not going to happen anymore.

Ruger 22/45 NIB - won't chamber a round?!

I'm willing to bet that the mags are not seated all the way, thus not allowing a round to be stripped off the mag. I have seen dozens of 22/45's that require a good hard whack on the mag once in the gun, like someone stated above. The mags look seated, but can be pulled out without depressing the ma...

Re: Revenge of the Nerds part 5

Changed the name of the thread to more appropriately depict what is being discussed here. Maybe this should be moved to the basement?...

Need some starting points for .25-06

This just goes to show that a few bad guys can really bring down a whole group. Thanks to those of you that PM'd me offering to give some advise or words of wisdom.

There are some genuinely good people out there. Just not all in this thread...thanks again to those who responded positively.

Re: Need some starting points for .25-06

Oh, and think about this for a minute: If this guy is a skilled reloader that you literally trust with your life, why are YOU asking for starting loads for a 25-06 in here?? Are you telling me that your buddy doesn't have a shelf full of reloading manuals with data for the 25-06 in every one of the...

Revenge of the Nerds part 5

So a buddy of mine will be loading some .25-06 for me in the next couple of weeks. I will be loading some rounds with Nosler ballistic silvertip 85gr and Barnes Triple Shock 115gr. I am not a reloader but am looking for some starting points or some basic load data that could get me started on a load...
