Re: Mobile shooting gallery

Caldwell makes a small one for about $300. They call it the "Rimfire Shootin Gallery". http://www.opticsplanet.com/caldwell-standard-rimfire-shooting-gallery-558978.html You could probably copy it or buy one and add on other shapes, etc.

Re: 41 magnum revolver recommendation

Nice pair of Smith's. I had a pair just like that, before my tragic boating accident.

Re: J frame/revolver experts - lubrication

I have an S&W rebound slide spring tool, it makes installing a new spring slightly easier (it is still a PITA). If anyone would like to borrow it, send me a PM.

Re: J frame/revolver experts - lubrication

Here are my two cents worth of advice: I will occasionally place a drop of oil on the ejector rod (not on the ejector star) and will put a dab of grease on the yoke shaft. Key word is a drop- as the ad slogan goes, a little dab'll do ya...... Work the ejector rod and spin the cylinder a few times, t...

Re: Looking for Trapshooting club

Also, check out Beaverbrook http://beaverbrook.us/. They have open trap shooting every Sunday from Noon to 4:00. I think they are shut down for maintenance for November, but start up again in Dec and run all year long.

Re: More Government BS!

The "Boston Tribune" is a fake "news" website. I think it is set up to post whacked out articles and get people to click on them and then get loaded up with ads and spam. NEVER post anything from their website. It is all garbage.

Re: .22 LR

Joes sporting Goods in St. Paul, has Mini-Mag 36 grain HP ammo for $7.99 with a 500 round limit. They had at least 5000 rounds on the shelf at 2:30 today. They had loads of Norma TAC-22 and other .22LR as well.

Re: Gun Vault

Also, should I run hvac into the room, or keep it completely sealed off on its own?

My friend opted against running HVAC into the vault, as he saw it as an access point for fire and/or water damage caused by the FD putting out a fire. He felt it was better to have the vault completely sealed.

Re: Gun Vault

I helped a friend who was building a house that he included a “wine cellar” (at least that is what the plans called it) as part of it. The “cellar” backed up to one of the exterior walls. For the other three walls of the vault, we put rebar down each block hole vertically, notched the centers of blo...
