Re: NRA (rant)

Take a look at the tags of the clothes you're wearing right now. Were any of them made in America? I am sure you are correct, but that isn't the point, (this isn't a buy America thread) its the NRA, remember the Olympic team wearing uniforms made in China, or was it Taiwan or Korea or wherever it w...

Re: NRA (rant)

Yeah -- I get where you are coming from msnden. Sure, international trade is here to stay, and probably benefits the world economy. On the other hand, I got pretty bent out of shape when I noticed that my nephew's Marine Corp sword was made in China. To me that is a disgrace. Yes, I am very militar...

With assault on gun ownership I thought it best to join the NRA, I sent in my membership & thought all was well. a few days later a package arrives from the NRA, in it were the usual papers, my membership card, some sales filers, and a Chinese hat!!! Ya, A CHINESE HAT!!!! Like I'm going to wear ...

Re: A cheap carry knife

Through out my working career I carried a knife, It was a tool I use almost daily, all I needed was a medium blade, & a Phillips & reg. screw drive, my knife of choice was one of the "Swiss Army" models, I am not sure how many I went through over the years, (not really that many), ...

Re: Should I be Annoyed?

I think we may be jumping to conclusions, after all we really do not know what was transpiring with that other customer, that is why I think it is important to ask and find out before we walk out or get pi$$ at a stores policy. I think with the economy today, stores, big or small are very interested...

Re: Should I be Annoyed?

I think you should have inquired, & if the answer wasn't satisfactory asked to see the manager, there may have been a good explanation, if not at least the manager would have been notified. jmop

Re: Marlin's XT-22 (bolt action .22 w/ adjustable trigger)

The tube magazine design in the XT-22 is the same basic concept that Marlin has put in a LOT of rimfire rifles over the years, simple and reliable. You start with 17 shots versus a max of 10 with the magazine fed rifle but reloads are slower. Magazines can be lost and the open sided Marlin mags are...
