Re: 22/45 RP trigger job?

Gun was returned this morning. Full refund. No questions asked. My dealer is super. They said some of the polymer grip framed guns have this problem with the mags backing out. Thanks for your suggestions.

Re: 9mm your favorite all around and why you like it

An older Ruger P89. Simple, tough, no gimmicks. Heavy enough to reduce recoil. Cycles everything. Shoots where I point it. Grip fills my hand.

But if I carried everyday, it would be my Glock 19. Never know it''s there and it holds lots of rounds . . . even though I'd hate to every have to use them.

Thanks to all. That great cow pic reminds me of growing up in a rural area. Only people who have been around them really know what "cow eyed" means. Big eyes but not much sign of intelligence in there. ;)

Re: 22/45 RP trigger job?

Mark- The issue exists with both mags supplied with the gun. I did a bunch of research before I bought this new 22/45 RP Target Model a few days ago. I guess I didn't do enough to realize that I'd need to do mods to get it to be smooth. I had two previous Ruger semi-autos years ago and liked them. O...

Re: 22/45 RP trigger job?

Any gun shop in MN do this alterations? Or is there a liability issue?

Re: Shops other than Gunstop

Obviously, this salesperson knows his stuff from all the testimonials. But even most of his defenders admit he has a "unique" manner about him. Reminds me of coaches we all know who are abrasive but tolerated because they produce results. Buy where you feel valued; avoid places where you d...

22/45 RP trigger job?

I just bought a new 22/45 RP. It functioned flawlessly the first trip to the range but I find the trigger to be very poor (lots of take up and not crisp). Plus, the clips do not drop down at all to facilitate removal AND if I push the button to close the action on a full clip w/o having the safety o...

Hello from MN River Valley

Good to have a MN gun forum. I browse other sites and am looking forward to the general chatter here. I have owned many guns long and short and, if I still had them all, I'd have quite a valuable collection. Among those are several which I miss. You all have similar regrets, I'm sure. Hope to be abl...
