Re: What will you stock up on after the firearmsageddon?

I'm not doing any shooting until things settle down. I plan to pick up a Marlin 60 this year. I would love a Glock 36, although it's probably not in the budget. Other than that, ammo.

Re: Is This The Scandal That Will Bring Obama Down?

I've seen so many scandals involving this president come and go, including some very convincing stuff dug up by Sheriff Joe Arpaio. None of it has ever gained any traction. The guy is Teflon. I doubt anything will get him out of office. He's got the power of the TV on his side, and Americans always ...

Re: What "Gun Control" measures what you pick? (if you had to)

We need to fight the mentality that more laws will equal less crime. First let me mention how happy it makes me to hear a cop say that. +1! I always say that the extent to which a politician values our civil rights can easily be measured by their stance on 'gun control'. We all know there is no goo...

Re: Glock failure to fire question

I like to use the 3.5 lb connector, the light striker safety spring, and the extra power trigger spring in my "Australian POS's", but I never use anything but the OEM striker spring for exactly that reason. I've used this setup for many years, with all different ammos and calibers, and nev...

Re: Do we have to worry about or gun right?

Last time I bought a NRA membership, they stuffed my mailbox with so much junk mail that I couldn't wait for it to run out.

I'd halfway consider another one if I could get them to agree to refrain from contacting me by mail.

Re: Black friday gun draw

It would depend on the circumstances. You don't have to stand there and let someone beat on you. It seems like there are at least a few local people each year who die after getting hit just once.

Re: Lakes Trading Company in Forrest lake

I stopped by and had them look over an old 1894 for me. Extremely nice, knowledgeable, and helpful guys, and wouldn't accept payment even though I offered.

Re: Road Rage shooting

I've kicked plenty of cars that came in to my lane. I don't think I was looking for trouble in doing so. Now that is probably not how it happened here, it sounds like all parties were already actively involved in a road rage situation that started when the driver in the car would not allow the moto...

Re: Road Rage shooting

There are plenty of accurate labels that are not derogatory. You've even included a couple in your clarification. So I guess you choose to be sensitive. Appologies if your offended. I did not intend to offend and I guess I am not sensitive to the subject. This is the interwebz and although I'm sure...

Re: Road Rage shooting

I'll be interested to see the results of the investigation. I'm not going to be so quick to condemn the permit holder. There were eyewitnesses who described the bikers riding next to his car on Hwy 65 and kicking it. It sounds like they were begging for some trouble...and clearly found it.

Re: In vs. Out - How do you carry?

OWB. I'm slim, and IWB holsters are freaking painful.

I've got SOB, shoulder, and ankle holsters that see occasional use.

Re: Students with gun permits get segregated dorms at University

Even with two exits, it still wouldn't matter. The police aren't going to risk physical harm to go in and save anyone; they'll just wait for the shooting to die down, then go in and slap cuffs on the bad guy. It's happened time and again. Can you find me a recent story where this holds true? After ...

Re: Why Craigslist won't let ya sell guns!

Ha ha I agree, although I've done business with decent people from both sites. Anyone, anywhere, anytime, as they say.
