Re: Why Craigslist won't let ya sell guns!

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2012/09/24/man-fatally-shot-trying-to-sell-guns-on-craigslist/ Police said Joshua and his brother were planning to sell guns, but they were recovered at the scene. The gun used to kill Joshua was not one of his own. Craigslist.org has a list on its website of i...

Re: Students with gun permits get segregated dorms at University

One of the advantages of legally carrying concealed is that you can choose to quietly go about your business without having to explain your personal choices to anyone. This policy is forcing people to "out" themselves. Whether they want to or not. They don't have "straight" and ...

Re: Need help finding a 10mm pistol.

I happened to stop and browse at the pawn shop in Osseo the other day, and there were two nice 10mm semiauto handguns in the case for under $500. I believe one of them was an EAA, but I don't recall. I've been in there a few times, and everyone I've dealt with seems pleasant (except for a fat Gunsho...

Re: At the Fair - Off Duty Officer kicked in the head

Well they're not exactly earning the respect of the citizenry with that kind of behavior.

Must have been a hilarious scuffle...bunch of drunken idiots rolling around, kicking, hitting, and biting each other, with a huge crowd of drunken idiots watching ha ha.

Re: Shippy's experiment - ammo storage and performance

I've been carrying the same Winchester Hi-Shocks in my spare mag for over four years. I spend lots of time outside, so these things have been exposed to lots of perspiration and temperature extremes. Every once in awhile, I'll shoot a few of them to see what will happen. No issues as of yet.

Re: Students with gun permits get segregated dorms at University

That totally works for me. Both sides are free to do what they see fit. Until, of course, some coed attracts a stalker, and decides she needs a gun. How long do you suppose it'll take her to transfer to a dorm that won't force her to remain vulnerable? Exactly. And she would have the freedom to mak...

Re: Students with gun permits get segregated dorms at University

All in favor of this, but talk about keeping the sheepdogs separate from the sheep. What I did not understand, and I hope someone could explain it to me, is the poll question at the end. Sounds like no matter how you respond it could be taken as a negative That totally works for me. Both sides are ...

Re: Bill's coming to WI?

It's the drive that I don't care about. I'm still pissed off at Bill's, obviously. Venting is good :-)

Re: Dang glock

Yeh, I ordered both a 15lb and 17lb Wolff recoil spring ($7 each) and a Wolff guide rod. We'll see how that works out. There's enough variability in ejection performance of late Gen3 and Gen4 Glock 19s that having to buy new parts to make my particular gun work reliably is irritating, but I'm other...

Re: Bill's coming to WI?

I am an admitted former Bill's Hater...but in recent years they have discovered the meaning of customer service and talking to their patrons like the paying customers they are. Recently after spending some time shooting I sat at one of the tables in the basement and people watched for a while. Afte...

Re: Dang glock

I shot SIGs for years, but as their guns fell to crap back about 2006, I switched over to M&P when I went to 9mm. That's been a pretty good gun for me, but when I went looking for a double-stack carry gun, I bit the bullet after years of being anti-Glock and bought a Gen 3 Glock 19. I was hopin...

Re: Dang glock

I was talking crap about its sights with the little goal post on it and then I shot it. Those sights make it really easy to shoot. I just can't get used to the goal post. I'd like to try a Glock with some aftermarket 3 dot sights and see if I shoot it any better. I hated them, too, although I could...

Re: Dang glock

I love my 1911. Never really liked Glocks Bless me father for I have sinned. I shot my brothers glock 17 gen 3 yesterday. It was very nice. My main reason for not liking glocks was its not comfortable in my hand and well be honest... its ugly. He put on a hogue grip that slides on to his grip. That...

Re: LOL - Lawsuit Against Glock

If that lady didn't want hot coffee maybe she should have ordered Iced coffee, just sayin'. If I order coffee I expect it to be hot! Do to expect it to be just under boiling, and then spilled into your lap by the person you ordered it from? Do you realize that the woman had full-penetration 3rd deg...
