Re: Inexpensive bullet source?

BigBlue wrote:I'm surprised the PrecisionDelta name is even uttered around here after the monstrous debacle some years back.

I wasn't involved. I've shot many thousands of their bullets, never had a problem with quality or service.

Re: Moving a safe, ideas?

I just remembered another time when I borrowed a piano dolly from our school. You should be able to rent them down there, they work pretty slick.

Re: Moving a safe, ideas?

I moved my safe by myself. I cut several pieces of 1-1/2 or 2 inch PVC the width of the base. Tipped the safe up to put the pieces under it and rolled it along the floor moving the pieces of PVC as they rolled from under the base. If needed, you can put 2x4's under the base if the base is hollow. T...

Re: Unable to post or logout using chrome

Goodbye, Chrome: Google’s Web browser has become spy software You open your browser to look at the Web. Do you know who is looking back at you? Over a recent week of Web surfing, I peered under the hood of Google Chrome and found it brought along a few thousand friends. Shopping, news and even...

Re: Unable to post or logout using chrome

A little off topic, but Chrome is spyware. I used Firefox for a long time but recently switched to Brave. I really like it, very good privacy built in to it. Care to elaborate? I gave up on Internet Explorer at least ten years ago, at the time it was slow and not very secure. At the time Firefox wa...

Re: Inexpensive bullet source?

For 9mm my go to bullet is 124gr JHP from https://www.precisiondelta.com/ . If you order 2000 the price goes down to $89 per 1,000 and free shipping. They just ran a sale for the 4th where the price went down to $84.

Rocky mountain reloading has some good prices too.

I stopped watching when they went to digital broadcasting. But I'm afraid my outlook is still pretty depressed.

Re: Gabby Gifford’s new Minnesota gun control group for FUDDS

Has there been any news coverage of this? I did a quick search and couldn't find any.

On the Explore Alexandria website I got a 404 Page not found :o https://explorealex.com/event/2019-state-trap-shooting-championship/2019-06-18/

Re: Night vision/thermal in Minnesota

Is the main fear the use of these systems in nocturnal poaching scenarios? Is it yet another case of the 99% being managed because of the 1% that cannot be trusted? Probably. Just like 'there will be blood in the streets' argument against Shall Issue. The serious/professional poacher is probably al...

Re: Night vision/thermal in Minnesota

97B.081, also found on page 30 of the 2018 hunting regulations, states quite plainly that one is not allowed to cast a light to locate or take any big game, small game or unprotected species except for a few very limited exceptions. That statute seems to not be affected by the new statute so the ol...

Re: Night vision/thermal in Minnesota

Do you have something besides what has been posted here for that belief? No, only what I've read here. The key line from SF 7 is this. (2) a person taking coyote or fox as provided under section 97B.075 and rules adopted under section 97B.605. It only references 97B.075 which says: 97B.075 HUNTING ...

Re: Why no gun ownership protection in MN state constitution?

More entertaining tidbits. http://www.mnopedia.org/event/minnesota-constitutional-convention1857 . .Minnesota politics in the 1850s was particularly intense, with fierce competition between Democrats and Republicans. The Democrats were the older, more established party. The Republicans w...
